Great video, well explained. Thank you so much. I was diagnosed with vestibular paroxysmia, vestibular migraines, PPPD and post-concussion syndrome, so it's been quite a journey!
I am certain I have PPPD but my neurologist feels that is just a marketi8ng term for what he has diagnosed me with, disequilibrium. I now think I get visual vertigo and vestibular migraines. I did not know what those were. Thank you!
thank you for all these videos. I’m learning a lot. I’ve had VV, VM and PPPD for years. Sometimes when I lay down to go to sleep it feels like my bed wiggles. I don’t feel that I am moving just my bed. Is this my brain making me feel this?
Seems like the vertigo doctor says pppd is always caused by an underlying condition . So you must had some brain surgery , or vestibular issue in the past ..
@TheVertigo Doctor What about computer screens?? I have been diagnosed with vest migraine but I am not actually convinced that is what it is. My symptoms really don’t line up That well And the “attacks “ can last weeks! I had complex BPPV and PPPD and they say Vest migraine. I found some good information and support on The Steady Coach, but I feel stuck with screen trouble. It doesn’t seem like visual vertigo per se you described it. It’s like my brain is meting down and sometimes I start to have “snow” visual disturbance and my head feels like I’m having a mild electric fuzz. But generally I don’t let it get that far before I’m literally running away; turning off my WiFi and all my devices! I have a good vtherapist although he doesn’t have any real answers for this. I’ve made the rounds of specialists too but feel like right now I’m just dealing with a slapped on diagnosis. Any thought?
Hi Got vestibular neuritis over 3 years ago and my life changed forever I’m getting better probably 80 % recovery but it seems like that’s the best outcome I can have I still have dizzy balance issues and headaches dull pain in forehead and temple region When I’m still or lying down my head and temples seem to have dull pressure only had vertigo twice since I diagnosed with vn Any answers on y I’m only now getting dull forehead and temple pressure soon as I wake up all day on and off ?
That video of the skyscrapers was HORRIBLE (for me). Guess I found a starting point for the therapist. Can you recommend a telehealth vertigo Dr w privileges in Florida?

VM is really common, and so is PPPD! It's absolutely not a marketing plan!
I have not been back to that dr. I need to find another one. Limited options here. :(@@thevertigodoctor

Apologies for that. We'll avoid including videos like that in the future. Thanks for the feedback.
