You're welcome. Glad you liked it. We have an extensive library of self-paced tutorials for Amesim in Xcelerator Academy. training.plm.automation.siemens.com/mytraining/viewlibrary.cfm?memID=LAAS81271&memTypeID=LAAS81271&product=XAPID548910037&track=&version=&language=&lp=
Instead of using mesh mating conditions for connecting the discretized weld to the parts being welded you would need to use surface-surface glue instead. Then you could control what glue is used when by creating simulation object containers in the transient subcases but this is not possible in a nonlinear transient coupled thermal structural analysis, however, it is possible to create simulation object containers in the subcases of a nonlinear transient structural analysis. You could solve the thermal transient analysis separately then apply the resultant temperatures as a table of fields temperature load to the nonlinear transient structural analysis with simulation object containers that control what glue is applied when. I haven't tried it this way to see if it makes much of a difference. If you try it, please let us know if it makes much of a difference in the results.
Great! Thank you Sir. Hope you create Amesim Tutorial. This software is new and not easy to learn without teacher like you

How do I define the Birth & Death of bead generating or sequential bonded contact at high temperature(welding temp.)?
