The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz.Time to get our Magic of Thinking Big on! In this PN TV episode, we'll check out some of my favorite Big Ideas from this great book--including getting rid of excuses and developing our stickability! Hope you enjoy. :)
Dr. Schwartz was my marketing professor at Georgia State University in the early 1980's. He was very inspiring and I still think about the lessons he taught us.
Whenever I feel depressed, this book gives me the real power to act against any situation. As a proof, I have turned many terrible situations into the best due to this book.
I love your presentation and manner. Well I have been meditating for 7 months now. Pretty much every morning at 6:30 am for 30 minutes. It has really helped calm my mind. Some mornings I only reach that no-thought state for a couple minutes of the 30, but I have also been in the now for as much as 10 minutes of the 30. I also notice that in my life during the day I think less. My brain seems to be changing more and more, the less I think , the less I have mental restimulation and suffering. I read many of the books you recommended months ago in that one video. Thanks. For me the 3 major steps are (1) think less (2) think less and (3) think even less...it seems so simple now.

Love the ideas behind this book! I am have to read it now. I have to say that I especially loved the part about removing the word "impossible" from your vocabulary. I have had a personal philosophy for several years now about using positive phrasing and words in all my communication. I believe using positivity in your communication makes the world and yourself better.

Nice re-enforcement. Some of challenges we must over come are finding/screening for a good idea(s), market research for risk/reward/tasks involved, business plan(to certain extent), and take action.

I have the audio book and I just love hearing the narrator say 'excuse-itis'! I hear excuses from others as why they are not where they want to be and some excuses just are down right worth playing back and listing to. The negative self talk we give ourselves is most debilitating act we can self inflict ourselves with. Personally when some on speak out of pocket to me I am a bit taken back. When I talk out of pocket to myself the self accusing spirit gets a pass. Don't give it a pass...

It's the one really played a lot during the initial stages after college.. Second half of career about to start in a next couple of years. I have got some combined theories out of it . Part one came out from the influence of David J Schwartz and Part two have been gowing as I have bee learning from some giant's outlook. I have been working with couple of personalities who can be considered as so called "True leaders".I am pretty sure will have success in the Second half of my career as well.
