Im happy you leave ur songs to people's interpretation, but I must say - YOUR thoughts on the lyrics are critical and so deserving. As a Man, im still shocked on the inequality of many women. I feel women should be MORE important even. Afterall, you give birth and literally create the future societies. Anyways, hopefully your message is heard more and more, and proper recognition comes. The lyrics make me think of Witches as in Wiccan Priestesses. I see the song as being about the eternal power struggle between men and women and how in a few rare times and places in history, women were on top or at least equal. Of course for 99% of all history, including now, women are nothing but chattel.
It reminds me that we are still primitive animals with little control over our biology. Lucky for us, we have arrogance in spades as a species so we do not have to face the truth.😂😂
It is not as blatent in the here and now but obvious if you look at the bigger picture. Women rarely have power except through men or through a male lense/way of viewing the world. Testosterone is about "power over" and estrogen is about "power with".

What a great song and what an awesome young band. Debut EP drops in April. Several of the young bands I listen to are female or female-fronted. Fun fact: per Fender study in 2018, 50% of beginning or aspiring guitar players are women.🤘

FTF has a bright, huge future in front of them! And I think we are seeing the cusp of Rock returning & being led by women - besides FTF, there is of course The Warning, Plush, and Voice of Baceprot!! The creativity and energy that is being brought by these ladies is just what Rock & metal need.
