the fact that VAR looked at it 10 times and still got it wrong makes you wonder, if they are thick ,or some illegal beating is going on wiith live in game bets. Collina is the only Referee that was good - the rest are pointless, and even now, we have VAR refs - refereeing the ref and they still get it wrong. Same at Chelsea,two dives - yet VAR arent strong enough to change on field decisions. i feel Refs should have to pass a standards test 2 or 3 times a season, to ref in the premier league and Championship. There is not standard or consistancy anymore, yet the lines personal seem to be 98% accurate.

Anthony Taylor has nothing to apologise for, he saw as it was as the on-field official. However, the blame lies squarely with VAR.
It was never a penalty, the attacking player clearly let his trailing leg deliberately hit the defending player.
VAR after looking at the evidence awarded the penalty not Anthony Taylor he trusted VAR to make the right call.
What should have happened is Anthony Taylor should have seen it for himself on the and then made the call.
It is VAR that has made so many errors and not the on-field officials, they are only going by what VAR are seeing on their monitors.
