- Hello friends! Today we are in Cádiz, Spain. Cadiz was founded by the Phoenicians established a port in the 7th century BC and is often regarded as the most ancient city still standing in Western Europe. The city is a narrow peninsula surrounded by the seas and is only 12.10 km2 (4.67 sq mi), but we were surprised at how much there was to explore! There are gorgeous beaches, historic and lively neighborhoods, lovely architecture and ancient forts. Hope you enjoy our wanderings!

Lovin cadiz
Cadiz is an amazing place and one of my favourites. Not a typical place full of Brits which is another tick in its box (I am a Brit, but like places that are more Spanish). Food is exceptional and the beach is beautiful, a perfect place. Fly into Seville and spend a few nights there and then get the direct train to Cadiz.

I will be on a cruise this summer and was ready to skip the port in Cadiz to enjoy the ship. This and many other videos of this beautiful historic city has lead me to and my family to plan an adventure there.
We came on a cruise ship as well and were surprised by how much history and beauty this city has. We plan to go back for a longer stay in the future!
