Absolutely love this! Great ideas for heating, and what an awesome stove system! I agree with all the comments... its hard to get away. Pinch your pennies and get some rural land. It took me 20 years to get back out to the country where I belong, but now I can finally breathe. No one around, just my family and nature! Thank you for the video!!!
OH BOY, when you took off running and jumped into the shelter from that hog, I about spit my drink up I laughed so hard!! AND that bowl you made was AMAZING!!!
I was just wondering how the clay would stand up to weather? And if you had to let the clay dry before you fired up the oven? Reason I ask, is I've done a couple very small projects with clay before, and ive had to let them dry for a significant amount of time before firing or they cracked like crazy
Your creativity, attention to detail, skill and breathtaking cinematography is perfection. And just when I was in awe of your past projects, you just keep topping it with more refinement and beauty. Wow...My soul in need of this ASMR retreat says thank you.
Great videos ❤️❤️Looks fun, enjoy entertaining, relieves stress, but if we go too deep into the forest there is danger.for me I like building camp bushcraft 🏕️🤝👍❤️. Please good health bro 🤝❤️
hey I've just watched your new video for 10 minutes and I'm already mega captivated. I really like what you're conjuring up there. Really complex but ingeniously cut. I immediately wanted to build a hut like this. Which is unfortunately not allowed in German forests. It's time I bought my own forest.
Love watching your videos, im in Scotland and live in the highlands my nearest neighbour is about 100km away. I love the solitude and live outside about 98% of the time.
Just loved this. Just nature and yourself. The way our economy is going, I think we will all be trying to build one of these. Thanks Asbjorn for sharing your unique life with us.
I want you to know that I have watched others on BushCrafy however they are not you. I love the fact that really show how you do things,, all the way down to making your tea !! You are by far the favorite !!!
anda benar2 gila, apa yg telah anda buat, tidak pernah gagal sedikit pun.saya kagum melihatnya.ini yg saya sangat suka video anda.sangat amat kreatif sekali....anda luar biasa brather....saya tunggu video selanjutnya yg lebih kreatif lagi dan lebih seru lagi...
Hello The stone oven and the air heating system it uses are excellent! The berries pie looks delicious 😊 I always enjoy watching your videos.Thank you!
That's absolutely amazing it's a perfect place to come in and unwind with no technology no distractions just enjoying the nature also what kind of tea is it
Had a stressful afternoon and this popped up in my feed - brought my anxiety and blood pressure right down. Thank you! Also, I need to get out in nature more 🙄
Besides all my highest regard for all that's accomplished here I must say that after a while I wasn't getting some pretty important visual info on what he was doing so I stuck around to perform my personal 'Mystery Science Theater" commentary. I was not disappointed.
I have so much admiration for you and what you have done. You are like 12 trades in one. Actually, wherever you are it looks very much where I live. Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
Why is there a layer of bark on the roof before you put down the sod? I now see why/how the rollup door stays up - pure genius! Your bowl is exquisite with its beautifully designed handle _ Great carver par ecellance.
Jesteś mistrzem montażu!!!! Jakbym oglądał film Hollywood 😮😮😮Gratuluję. Oglądałem z największą przyjemnością. 💪💪💪 Piękny las, wspaniały domek w lesie, super montaż! Dziękuję. 😀😀😀
Smoke does not enter the air heating system. The pipe passes through the furnace and exits from the bottom of the furnace to the outside. Thus, only clean air enters the heating system. I also want to increase the height of the chimney :)
Oddly Ive never seen this channel before, most of my UA-cam channels are Bush craft. With 700.000 subs you would think UA-cam would of showed this one sooner. Outstanding video. New sub here.
Great production value and some bushcrafting skills. I especially like the way he finds the Portland cement deposit in the humus of the coniferous forest floor. Lol. That or strangely very gray dirt.
It's just clay. The soil around my house has a high clay content, too, but it's red, not grey. Basically because it has high amounts of iron oxide in it, which turns it red. Clay is usually grey.
You are very talented. I enjoy watching your videos. They are very peaceful and relaxing, except when you run from the wild boar! 😂 Thanks for what you do and keep going. 😊
This is amazing, I truly love it, however recalling my grandma's stove I noticed that you seem to be missing two elements -- where's the cold air intake* at the bottom, and how are you planning on removing the ashes? The latter is obviously not such a big deal since you can always remove them once you stopped burning, but I think that'd improve a slow, long burn (ie overnight). Thanks for sharing, loved this clip. *presumably you'd like to have the stove door securely closed in the case of cold night in the dry autumn to prevent the sparks escaping on the forest floor in the conifer forest.
Thank you! Yes, I simplified the design. I made the air intake right in the door - just holes. I regulate the burning rate using a valve on the pipe. I will remove the ash directly through the door. I always close the door at night.
This is my favorite of your videos so far! So many delightful tidbits. I love that the grass is growing on the roof, and little ferns too. I am so jealous that you have such delicious mushrooms there! I've had porcini a lot more than chanterelles, but neither is exactly common here. That rice looked amazing! And the berries, too. The oven/stove/furnace with radiator inside the shelter is a brilliant solution. Finally, I have to mention the trough - or as I thought of it, the giant's porringer! 🤣 I couldn't figure out what you were going to use it for at first, but that was really clever and fun.
Great Joy observing you in your element! Glad you dove into your hut and closed the door to the boar! I hope he doesn't surprise you out in the forest! Never know what you are creating and is great fun to see things evolve! How does the “door” stay up when rolled open? THE BEST!
I've been waiting for this video for a long time and it is so worth the wait. I love the beautiful little door on your amazing stove. I bet you were warm as toast sleeping in the cabin. Hurry up with the next video!!
You have to tote all those extras and tools in over time, if its a long hike in and out, well, needless to say it takes time. But this guy made a deluxe hide out for sure. Nice job picking an area with so many straight lodge poles growing everywhere you look. Having batch trees and a forest floor lined with moss, handy. I should do one showing how difficult it is to find such accommodating surroundings.
I've never before seen the type of adze you were using. I had to look it up. Very interesting! I love how creative you are in your planning, from the area under the shelter for your wood supply, to the container you made to carry dirt, and also your "stove"! I was wondering why your clay is green? Is there a lot of iron in the dirt?

Asbjorn, once again you've demonstrated your skills. That stove is brilliant!
Thanks a lot!
Smart way to heat inside without smoke. Looks snug, dry & warm. All I'd want to add is a a cover for the stove when it snows.
Thank you! I’ll think about how to make a canopy over the stove 👌
I was just wondering how the clay would stand up to weather? And if you had to let the clay dry before you fired up the oven? Survival where you are will be wonderful because the food source is rich and diverse

How do you keep the smoke out with the heat transfer system? That is a phenomenal idea by the way!
Smoke does not enter the air heating system. The pipe passes through the furnace and exits from the bottom of the furnace to the outside. Thus, only clean air enters the heating system. I also want to increase the height of the chimney :)
@@AsbjornOlsenBergBushcraft perhaps, smell of furnace will repell wild fauna.

An amazing central heat system. If you can carry the pipe in to make such a heating setup, go for it...

I love how creative you are in your planning, from the area under the shelter for your wood supply, to the container you made to carry dirt, and also your "stove"!
