    I would like to see a video on corrections when tge loop is getting too small.

      HI Mark,
      Actually all of the tips in this video are geared toward fixing a loop that is getting too small. This is the most common problem when learning the butterfly. If this does not answer your question, please let me know.

    Hi Dan, I've been able to do a pretty good butterfly with a fixed honda. I'm slowly getting it with the open honda. I'll see if I can send you a video.

    Where do you get your trick ropes from?

      I get the rope from Western Stage Props. Then I modify them top suit me.

      @@rhinestoneropers9204 I been roping cattle for 20 years, been roping the dummy for 45, but never been able to do the butterfly for more than 3 or 4 passes in front of me or to the side ahorseback! To me forever to figure out how to throw the hoolahan right! Just ain't no trick roper! Prolly never will be, but admire those that are! Ocean wave is another I wish I could do!
