Melissa, many moons ago, my future wife and college friends rented the “ party “ house on an old money estate in Greenwich . There was a old oak slab table and similar chairs that enabled us to host more than twenty family and friends for Thanksgiving . What a wonderful experience. Still have fond memories of that day which was over 50 years ago. I hope you have the same experience soon in the barn which is just fabulous.

Great video Melissa, The table reminds me of when my wife and I got married and got a 12 X 80 mobile home we bought a couch and chair made from 2 x 4 lumber and had cloth covered foam cushions, was not comfortable but hey it was new and our first furniture. Quilts!! - Long story short...my parents divorced when I was 2 and my father and his family were not allowed visits. Fifty years later, I was able to reconnect with my dad, et al. My grandmother was so excited she made a quilt especially for me at the spry age of 90. She passed shortly after, content in our reunion.😇

We have the exact theater chairs. Our arrangement is a section of three and another section with two. A few years ago we purchased two leather couches from this company and loved them. After checking our local furniture stores no one could come close to the quality or price. Ours came from a company in California and was delivered by JB Hunt freight. We also purchased the white glove service which includes having them carry every thing in and fully assembled.

Great video Melissa. The building interior and furnishings are awesome. Agree that the table is perfect and really like the new sectional lay out. Believe I could do a lot of good napping in those chairs or on the sectional. The quilt adds a nice finishing touch.
My wife learned how to quilt years ago watching youtube. Now we have two bedrooms, one is a sewing room and the other is a storage room for all her quilting materials for future quilts. If she doesn't slow down, I'm going to have to add more room to this house or build her a quiltdominium.
There's nothing wrong with hand-me-downs and second hand furniture. I recently gave my father my Lazy Boy sofa easy chair combo. It was in great shape and has a lot of service for years to come. It's shaping up to be a very nice family space - Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
Haha Mike actually said he would build me a table but I just knew he has too much going on and that would take too much time and I wanted to table now so this was what we found
I made a quilt at 13 yrs old. My mom was a big quilter. She left us a closet full of material. She was quilting with a 24” hoop. I made her a quilting frame that could roll up the quilt before and after your quilting in the middle. On the tree that broke with the leaves on it. When the tree has an unusual amount of little branches real close to the main trunk it is a sign of disease. Your living space is beautiful.

Melissa, great video and music. I have been married for 56 years. 54 years ago, after completing my Navy service, we purchased a new Dining Room table and china cabinet. The table had to be rock steady and it is. Our family of 4 children and us, celebrated many holidays, birtndays, anniversaries and other just special days. I know your new table will do the same.

Mrs. Morgan, look for a blanket display shelf. Or, have Mike make you one. Mine has a spring loaded wood dowel to hold the blanket/quilt and theres a nice shelf on top to hold what-nots. I made it out of red oak 20 yrs ago.
My husband religiously listen "outdoors with the Morgan" everyday... Never miss one! I think he his a silent viewer, but he listen everything! Take some of your ideas. Our lifestyle look just like yours but in the coldest part of Quebec. 😊

Melissa, great video and music. I have been married for 56 years. 54 years ago, after completing my Navy service, we purchased a new Dining Room table and china cabinet. The table had to be rock steady and it is. Our family of 4 children and us, celebrated many holidays, birtndays, anniversaries and other just special days. I know your new table will do the same.

Mrs. Morgan, look for a blanket display shelf. Or, have Mike make you one. Mine has a spring loaded wood dowel to hold the blanket/quilt and theres a nice shelf on top to hold what-nots. I made it out of red oak 20 yrs ago.
