Prisoner of Azkaban is the first “adult” film of the franchise in my opinion and without a doubt the best if not top three of the whole franchise 💪🏼
I agree...it's definitely my fave, I've watched several H.P reactions and it seems to be most people's fave bit why?
True but the first one will always be my favorite. Something about Chris Columbus take inspired old film ( forgot the name) his take made it stand out very differently.
@@marykay8587I think Sirius. It was truly one of the most surprising twists and then for Harry to finally have real family in
Sirius, plus Lupin was also great throughout. Film wise the first two feel like kid films but the third felt much more mature, more thrilling, more risk and danger to them and so on.
In no way is this film the best
Fun Fact: Rupert Grint the actor for Ron Weasley has Arachnophobia, a fear of spiders. His reactions you see during those spider scenes are indeed real, especially the one with Aragog. 😁
Makes the scene that much better knowing it’s all real then😂😂
“This is dark” he saids 😏 this man it’s not ready for what’s coming.
the Polyjuice Potion actually does change your voice into the person you're impersonating, not just the physical appearance. They kept the original person's voice for the films because I guess they thought the audience wouldn't be able to keep track of who is who haha. It kind of becomes a slight film inconsistency later, the voice thing. But it's a small matter, not a big deal.
Also you can take notice of how the Warner Brothers logo changes from film to film, it's a nice touch.
Glad you like this one, great reaction 😊
I think you may have missed the part where the Dursleys said they gave Harry Dudley's 2nd bedroom. Yes that means that he was sleeping under the stairs when there was another bedroom he could have been in the whole time he lived there.
I think in a way that Ron was braver than Harry on the Dark Forest this time. He really has a phobia about spiders but he went in anyway.
Btw. There's a post credit scene you should watch on this one if you didn't see it.
Very good point, I didn’t think about it like that. But oh man i’m gonna have to go back and watch that!
lmao the house has four bedrooms one for the parents when is guest one is dudleys room and one is dudleys toy room
@@Vanilla_Icecream1231 exactly.
Fun fact: In the scene where Harry and Ron are Crabbe and Goyle and they’re talking to Percy Wesley, Tom Felton, the actor who plays Draco Malfoy, improvised the line “I didn’t know you could read” because he forgot what his scripted line was
The way you keep calling Professor Mcgonagall "Cat Lady" hahahahaha... She's my favorite character on the franchise. Nice reaction ;)
An interesting point - you didn't show Malfoy using the term "mudblood" here, but in the book, Hermione didn't know what it meant. She knew she'd been insulted by everyone else's reactions (half the Gryffindor team reacted), but not what it actually meant. That was social wizarding stuff - basically the same as calling a black person an "Oreo" (the insult means they're black but they act as if they're just as good as a white person - I mean, they are, but anyone who'd use that term doesn't believe that), so they're basically saying Hermione isn't a real witch and that she's tainted from being born into a muggle family. The trio all have different heritage - Hermione being muggleborn, Ron being a "pureblood" (he doesn't have any known non-witches or wizards in his family), and Harry being a half-blood (the son of a pureblood wizard and a muggleborn witch).
Well-said! I think that’s a really good analogy for the *meaning* of the term. But my understanding is that -in terms of social acceptability- it’s more akin to the Wizarding World’s version of the N-word (which is why Hagrid gasps when he hears it)
@@cometgirl217 agreed. That's definitely not as "simple" as calling someone oreo. It's definitely closer to n-word, or for romani to "gypsy"
IMO, it's closer to calling someone a pretender or an imposter.
Purists don't believe muggleborns are real witches and wizards and that they have no place in Magic Society.
@@sarahobah Well, an "Oreo" means a black person who thinks they're just as good as a white person. A "mudblood" a Muggleborn who thinks they're just as good as a pureblood. Of course, they are just as good as each other, but racists don't think that.
@@strawberrysoulforever8336 Not everywhere... In some places 'Oreo' is used to reference a biracial persons ethnicity without reflecting on that person's sense of self worth compared to others.
That's the struggle with slang terminology, that's why I put forth my own suggestion, which people can either ignore or use to have more context around Malfoy's possible intent when he uses that word.
Great reaction again!!! just a heads up: the Dumbledore actor for these first 2 movies, Richard Harris, died after this movie was made. He is replaced by Michael Gambon for the rest of the films :)
Whaaaaaaaaaaat, I didn’t know that. That’s a big hat to fill.
Another great reaction! A fun piece of trivia never mentioned in the movie is why Ron is so scared of spiders. When he was a toddler he accidentally broke the twins' toy broomstick. Young wizards cannot control their magic very well, like when Harry made the glass disappear and let the snake escape. So, one of the twins, I think it was Fred, turned Ron's teddy bear that he was holding into a spider, and it scarred Ron for life. Therefore, Ron was actually being very brave going into the forest, even though he lost his cool a little bit!
Ahhhhh okay that explains it a little more. I’m gonna have to read the books once I finish the films, I love details like that.
@@ReelReactionsYT yes! if you cant find time to actually read the books, consider the audiobooks! (go with narration by jim dale or stephen fry.. stephen fry one is harder to get in the US but the jim dale one is amazing too!)
A lot of people don’t really like this one and I will never understand it. You saying 10/10 when it ended hit home for me.
I'm so glad you've been enjoying the wizarding world and I'm really excited to see your reactions to the following movies since they get darker and darker as you progress (You'll even be able to tell each intro gets darker as a representation of the evolving danger)
The third movie is where the whole franchise really kicks off . Can't wait for the future reactions
Congrats on your channel 👏
Love your reactions. Hope your channel grows.
Thank you!!!
@@ReelReactionsYT 👍👍😉
He's already jumped 100 subscribers in a day or two. Growth is inevitable. 👍
Another great reaction, you are Good at this!🤗 thanks, looking forward to the next 👍✨
I'm already waiting for the react of the best film in the franchise, considered by many 🗣️🗣️❤️
I love the first two movies but I feel like the best movies are from 3 to 8. Love your reactions!
I’m already mad at myself for taking this long to watch them, just from how much I loved the first two haha. So if they KEEP getting better imma def have a new favorite movie franchise! But thank you! Love sharing this experience with y’all♥️
In the books, Harry got his cousin's 2nd bedroom after he get letters under the stairs. The Dursley's realized it's a known fact where harry is residing. Dudley threw a fit when they gave Harry his room.
Introducing Dobby played by Toby Jones as well as Professor Gilderoy Lockheart played by Kenneth Branagh
Arnim Zola!
Great reaction, brother. Looking forward to more. You have a subscriber.
I’ve been watching this series since I was a kid and as a grown man, I just noticed that we are introduced to Dobby as he is jumping on Harry’s bed having a blast. I missed that.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this already and I know I'm a year late but the voice of the snake(the whispers Harry can hear) was done by Jason Isaacs, the actor who plays Draco's father Lucius!
I liked you from the first reaction.I really enjoy them and hope your channel grows in the future with you and us(subscribers)together.Good luck!
“Arania Exume!” Harry learned that cast from Tom Riddle pulling him into the diary. No one ever notices that. “He who shall not be named” helped Harry in that moment. Hehe. When I read comments on these sorts of videos, I feel very connected to others. We know we all belong in Hogwarts. Not here :) trapped in a world of muggles.
Thanks, Kennedy! 🪄 #ReelReactions #ChrisColumbus #HarryPotterAndTheChamberOfSecrets
ok now I'm watching your reaction to the first ones after I saw all of the others lol, a shame the first one got problems with the image and audio but this one is one of my favorites, most people don't like so much this but for me it is soooo nostalgic, because it was the first harry potter book I read (the funniest book of the series btw) and it was right after watching the movie (that I thought really creepy and got scared at lol), but reading sooo many new details was really magic, I could see and imagine their voices and the places and It almost felt like I was diving into the wizarding world daily getting to know what's up for the day at Hogwarts, ah, it was magic! A great experience since I could not read the other books at the time.
Kicking into an even higher gear after this.
I'm in love with this Guy😔💙
I cant wait for the next one its a great movie☺️
Você é tão fofo e eu amo HP 💙
Just so you know for the next one dumbledore will be played by another actor as the previous one died.
WHAT🙃🥺. What’s the fanbase’s thoughts on the replacement Dumbledore? He do it justice?
@@ReelReactionsYT It took a little adjusting to initially but now I think that they were both really great Dumbledores.
There is a small post credit scene in this one.💜
Whaaaaaaaaat, definitely gonna have to go back and watch it.
❤️💛💚💙
After credits scene.
You just got a new subscriber. Hopefully you figure out a better way to show the movie but it’s not bad and you paying attention and catching things that others don’t makes up for it.
High Kennedy tried to watch your jaws reaction but it froze all through your jaws reaction make Shaw you watch aliens this time it's war
It should be good now! Dang UA-cam Studio butchered a couple of my videos when all I wanted was to add blurs🤦🏼♂️😂
_Uncle Vernon_: "You just ruined the punchline of my almost certainly racist joke!!!!"
"You're welcome"
“Hey at least you’re safe on that tree” LOL
A little clarification: in the end of the first movie Harry said that he was not allowed to use magic whe away from school (as well as other students), and Hagrid replied that he 'knows it, but your cousin does not'. At the beginning of the second book Harry was poking fun at Dudley by muttering random nonsense (that made Dudley run away in fear) until Dobby's visit - after that he got a warning letter from the Ministry of Magic, from which the Dursleys learned about magic being banned for Harry during the holidays
I REALLY need to read the books once i’m finished with the films. I’ve heard so many small details like that, that I know id LOVE.
@@ReelReactionsYT Definitely. And one more movie-only detail that I personally like: pay attention to Mrs. Weasley's outfit during the 'WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!' scene. It is made out of multi-colored yarn. Remember, all the Weasley kids got sweaters for Christmas? It becomes obvious that the outfit is made out of yarn remains (and as far as the Weasleys have money problems, it makes all kinds of sense)
@@ReelReactionsYT Also, the students being suspicious about Harry being the heir of Slytherin are shown more prominently in the book. Particularly, there is one Hufflepuff student named Ernie McMillan who states that 'Voldemort wanted to kill Harry because he did not want to have a competetor' and is convinced that Harry 'petrifies those whom he does not like'. However, he sincerely apologizes to Harry when Hermione gets petrified ('you would've never attacked Hermione')... Of course, pushing everything in a movie is impossible, so you should really get to books after watching
Again, you're just a joy to watch doing these (the guy who loves his pillow). I really look forward to your journey into Middle Earth. It would be exciting to see your unedited reactions. Ever thought of starting a patreon site?
Thanks Jim! Gonna be posting my full reactions on Patreon starting with my next one, Jurassic Park!
@@ReelReactionsYTExcellent!
Dobby being presented that sock never gets old! Great reaction! Can’t wait for Prisoner of Azkaban!!!
I am ready for the best movie Prisoner of Azkabaaaan!
Loving your reactions! I can't believe so many people haven't seen these films before! It'd be awesome to hear some of your thoughts on the characters/plot at the end.
Dude how enjoy si much watching you your reactions to all movies specially when you do like’ hmmmmm’ those adorable sweet faces you made you’re such cute. You’re the most honest enjoyable UA-camr to watch all the time. Keep up and I’ll be watching every video of yours
“I think I saw this in midsommer” 😂😂
YES i’m happy somebody picked up on that line!😂💀
Yay finally the next part!❤️❤️❤️
How did you make the intro? What software or app you use? Also, in the books their voices change too after transformation.🙏🙏😊
Literally used the iMovie app on my iPhone, went to youtube took 10 seconds of screenshots from my two favorite movies of all time, then slapped em together with royalty free music! As for the ‘Reel Reactions’ part, I can’t remember exactly the website, but I googled ‘free youtube intro maker’ and made that haha. And if i remember correctly, the website actually did charge $ to export it, so I just screenshot it🤷🏼♂️🤣
@@ReelReactionsYT ok, Thank you...
Are you going to be doing reviews as well? Looking forward to those if so
What's wrong with the movie audio? lol
Hilarious though, sounds like they're all huffing helium 🤣
I’m not sure, it should actually be slightly deeper than usual not higher pitched😳 it’s to help deter audio copyright blocks
@@ReelReactionsYT yea that's what I meant, never seen any other youtube reaction that deepens the voice for copyright reasons though, personally as a viewer probably not strictly necessary (and a bit annoying if I'm honest) but then I've always been pissed off by how unnecessarily anal the copyright rules are 😜
@@robertdoherty5316 its not even bad...
