Freind do you realize you watch videos like this for a reason? ....Because the bible says we are so desperately wicked to the core not having any good whatsoever. Because sin has made us spiritually dead and no man of his own free will is going to look for GOD. GOD said it is impossible for our wicked nature to know any righteousness. JESUS said we are at enmity against HIM. So what makes the difference in a saved person's life that he knows GOD and has a desire for heavenly things when GOD said of ourselves this is impossible. Its oh so simple but AMAZING, because of the unmerited GRACE of A HOLY GOD. The reason anybody, that truly loves GOD, is because THE HOLY SPIRIT is dealing with you and HE draws you to come to JESUS for the washing and cleansing of your sins which you will become aware of because the ALMIGHTY GOD is working in you and HE WILL FINISH IT. HE will not start a work in you then leave it all up to a spiritually dead sinner to do the rest. If GOD starts a work in a person its because JESUS died for their sins and HE will draw them to. HIM and REDEEM them because JESUS said He will save ALL that the FATHER gave HIM and none shall be plucked from HIS HAND. So why is an atheist bothering with watching videos like this when GOD plainly says all through the new testament that man is spiritually dead, dead, dead. Same with physically dead. You can hollar and talk with a physically dead person to just believe and get up and walk. How can they their dead? It would take a supernatural act for them to hear and get up and live. Its totally the same with spiritually dead people. It takes a supernatural act from GOD to do that. So I pray the LORD might use something that a Christian has said or many ways GOD has used to work through whatever it might be to save your soul. Because every true Christian thought the same way you do and that includes me. I was brought up in church and I hated it with all my being. I mean from a very young age. But freind if GOD starts working on your soul you will know it because it is inescapable and its GOD that will open your eyes and HE takes care of every single bit of it and HE will make you totally see and understand and enlighten you that HE PURCHASED you and you will see everything through totally different lenses. Then like all Christians do. You will be like AMAZING GRACE that GOD saved me from my sins which were making you run full blast to an ETERNITY in hell. That's when a born again Christian says oh my it is amazing that GOD saved me from a terrible ,horrible nightmare of the damning sin I never knew I had and would have died in them to the horrific reality of the torments of hell and would have been going there all alone but GOD saved me, the wretched sinful GODLESS heathen I was and deserved ETERNAL punishment. if not for JESUS CHRIST loving me. AMAZING GRACE. THE LORD may already be working with you. Because atheist dont want nothing to do with ALL THAT BIBLE, GOD WORSHIPPING CRAP. ALL of mankind is that way. Nobody wants GOD because our nature is wicked and we dont have one bit of good in us that can please A HOLY ,RIGHTEOUS GOD. So I do so hope GOD opens your eye's freind. ♥️🙏

I'm just happy to see so many of the "hopeless" metalheads that welcomed me into their scene now welcome me into their churches after so many years. This actually makes a lot of sense, because if you go back to the early Mushroomhead albums, a lot of his lyrics seem to be written from the perspective of someone struggling to find faith and meaning. It was like he was seeking wisdom and enlightenment, but found *nothing.*

"Conflict - The Argument Goes On"
    "43"
    "Mother Machine Gun"
    "The New Cult King"

I was actually a fan of Mushroomhead then and later on met some fantastic brothers and sisters in Christ who were metal heads at a festival in Europe. I got back on track ( was in a death metal band, black metal band, and industrial band during a ten year period) and shaped up my walk with the Lord. Music is a great tool for worship and I am glad there are some fantastic bands in the Christian underground scenes. I am glad to see Jeff (met him with Mushroomhead in 2015 in Destin Florida when I was stationed down there) at a great church home and hope his testimony turns many to the Lord! God bless you all!

When I first watched this a year ago, I cringed and felt "why did Jeff go from such a cool singer to this weeping Jesus devotee" (and probably felt harsher about it than that) but now I find myself looking at this as beautiful, and healing, and necessary. I don't know what God is or what it means, but I started praying this year while Ive been suffering greatly. I was kicked out of my home from drug use, lost someone very special to me and our world together because of it, and spiralled further into self-destruction. Im not in the clear yet, Im figuring it out, but there is something powerful here in choosing the path of light and knowing you can find peace in that way of being. I don't know who or what I am anymore. It's confusing but I grew up listening to Mushroomhead and 20 years later I still do every day, and there's power to this man's journey.

I've been a mushroomhead fan for years and wondered why he left seeing this I understand. I grew up in church and from being bullied to having health issues I hated everyone and turned away from God. I felt I had been cursed and blamed him, inside I was a storm raging with hatred for everyone. I had friends but my rage and desire to walk this earth alone cursing never went away. Till I met my wife, she walked into a band practice and for the first time in my life I didn't feel hate. There was something different about her, we started hanging out and over the years went from friends, to dating, to married. She was raised in church as well but a different denomination but I like to experience all different denominations. She has made me a better man and a better Christian without her who knows where I would be. Probably alone and hating life and myself or even dead. Glad you are doing good keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you!

Unfortunately there are Christian kids everywhere that are blessed with a lot and don't realize it. They think they're better than others and their parents are to blame for the way they act. I went to a Christian summer camp when I was 15. Kids made fun of me because I was from the local town that the camp was near. I guess that made me some backwoods hick in their eyes. They also chastised me because I got sponsored to go there by a local business and their parents paid all sorts of money for them to be there. I think a lot of us that lost faith have had some bad experience with so called Christian kids and it left a bad taste in our mouths. It's all good though. We're back on track and that's all that counts. We just need to make sure we teach our kids well.

This was amazing Jeff. I have counted you guys in MushroomHead as friends in one of the greatest under rated bands. I got to hang out with you all one night in Grand Rapids after a show and although I doubt any of you remember me, I will never forget how real and normal you all were. I asked a friend after sitting around in a small room with a bunch of who I though we're other fans, "Where's the guys from the band?" I had never seen you all out of costume. He started pointing you all out while telling me each of your names. I was shocked and responded with something like, "These are the guys that looked like serial killers on stage, but these look like they could be any of our normal nerdy friends. So, what, are all rock stars really just band geeks dressed up to look cool." LoL I never saw any famous musicians the same after that.
I am happy for you to have received a calling or invite to the side with the only lifeboat off this sinking ship.
I have a similar story as far as the part about mom taking us to church until we quit when I was 12. From 12 to 21 I was as close to atheist as agnostic could get . Then one day driving home from work, as a Marilyn Manson freak. My fingernails filed to claws, and painted black. I got a message delivered audibly from something that I felt physically grab my shoulder from an empty passenger seat.
It said, "We got plans for you and you are f**kin up. A war is coming and you are important." Long story short I argued and demanded proof of existence and I'd fight on His side. They provided it and I commenced my training and preparation for the invisible spiritual war. For those with eyes that can see it has clearly made it's self more visible in the past several years. Lines were drawn and the chaff has been bundled into small groups each individual identifies as.
Along my path I have stumbled many times and still do often. I know I am a long shot from perfect and fall far short of the grace of God or deserving of it.
I often say, "Nobody's perfect. There was one once a long time ago, but we crucified him for it." I know that if we all get to celebrate together in paradise with those that have graduated before us, from this short education before an eternity in service to the King of kings... If we... or I anyway since I can only speak for myself. If I make it to the big after-party, it's only thanks to His supremely super-human level of forgiveness and patience. I have said that though this place can be really shitty at times. If I get to tell Him what I think when I'm done, all I can say is, "Thanks".
That said I just wanted to thank you and your wife. I hope you are both well and enjoying God's blessings.
P.S. my atheist metal friends always argued with me when I said MushroomHead almost seemed like a undercover Christian band. This is going to blow their mislead minds.
    🤯 I Love it.
