The funniest thing about this fight scene is that the whole next movie could've been avoided IF JESmon didn't go for such a risky attack with Alphamo flying right beside him. You'd expect a Royal Knight to have more battle IQ then that.

Homeostasis understands their pain of having to kill a friend, but it also knows what would happen if Meicoomon wasn't killed. While the DigiDestined fought for what they believe is right, they realized it's actually wrong, so Homeostasis' orders were carried out by them instead of Jesmon.
This should have been the part where Patamon digivolves to Seraphimon for the first time, rather than doing it in the previous movie. That was supposed to be Phoenixmon's highlight. Would have been way better if Seraphimon appears to battle Raguelmon and Ophanimon FM in a 3-way fight. As the great angels battle, the Royal Knights also have their own 3-way fight in the background. Towards the end, it becomes a Free-for-All royal rumble with only Omnimon and Seraphimon being allies. Jesmon in a last ditch effort, uses his most powerful attack to destroy Raguelmon and the rest, but failed due to Alphamon's interference. However, he managed to grievously wound everyone, and trapping Tai in a large crevace. Yggdrassil then took the opportunity, and merged the weakened Ophanimon and Raguelmon together, giving birth to Ordinemon. The fight scenes were really good in this movie but could have been way better if Ophanimon and Seraphimon's prowess were shown.
It would have been interesting to see a duel between Omnimon and Jesmon but Alphamon ouryuken had to interfere and ram both of them showing them who the boss of the royal knights is

Yes, it's established early on in Tri that Omegamon is linked to Tai and Matt's emotional state which caused him to not finish off Alphamon in their first fight. In this state he was responding to Tai's desire to protect his friends.

He's one of the Royal Knight Digimon (along with a handful of others like Jesmon and Omegamon) . He's generally considered the leader of the Royal Knights and one of the most powerful but in Tri he's an antagonist and his role is never really explained.

Most of Royal Knight is Ultra - Mega level , while Seraphimon is Mega level . It is impossible to win .
Seraphimon unlike magnamon/angemon doesnt fare that well against digimon of the same level. It most of its appearances it got owned and beaten easily.

To be honest they always crapped onto Seraphmon, in season 4 frontier he was defeated by Mercurymon a fricking champion level
In tri he absolutely did nothing special, he was easily pushed aside by Machindramon and it was Phenixmon and HerculesKaburrimon who really did the most work

Alphamon generally the one regarded as the most honourable among the royal knights and often stands against Yggdrasil so to see him hunting down Meiccomon and taking on the Digi-Destined makes little sense. Though at least Jesmon changed his alliegences in the late half.

Because they are being led by different masters. Alphamon was sent by Yggdrasill while Jesmon was sent by Homeostasis.
Aye, they all want Raguelmon but for different reasons. Omni wants to save it, Jesmon wants to kill it and Alphamon wants to use it because he's being possessed by evil geni.

He's one of the Royal Knight Digimon (along with a handful of others like Jesmon and Omegamon) . He's generally considered the leader of the Royal Knights and one of the most powerful but in Tri he's an antagonist and his role is never really explained.
