I have not created websites since selling my main business 10 years ago and so much has changed since I built my sites, 20 years ago. A friend asked me to create a website to promote his book so I got the domain and updated my old version of Dreamweaver and soon discovered, responsive is a not that intuitive. I found your channel and followed it. You explained the basics so well that I made a lot of progress after starting over. I still have 2 other smaller businesses that will get modern phone compatible web sites. At 74yo a lot of what I knew in building the shopping carts from scratch, and appointment system that made sense when I was 50 has been forgotten,.
You have become one of my favorite web design UA-camrs. This is a very effective tutorial, thank you.

Very good instructional video. Your instructions are clear and concise. I left Dreamweaver years ago to focus on back end PHP/Laravel development, but I find myself doing side projects that require frontend work with bootstrap and responsiveness and I needed some help with it. I think this will do the trick. On a side note I used to use Dreamweaver back in the days when it was owned by "Macromedia" and I could spit out a site (At the time is was an all table layout) in no time. Thanks again for the great instructional video!

I noticed that your video is in 720p. This may be in part because the mac aspect ratio is likely 16:10. If you can use a 1440p display and record 1440p videos, you can get an improved encoding algorithm (you can check this by right clicking on the video and clicking "stats for nerds"). Whatever your quality of video is, you can try using video editing software to export to 1440p format, uploading that, and see if youtube gives you the improved encoding that way too. The picture quality can be much better.
A yo Prof! Thanks for all your help! I got a question, when I load a png or jpg image I get that broken file image, what am I doing wrong? I haven’t connected to the site but I don’t think that’s the problem because my header image does appear. When I get to the smaller 400 by 200 pixel images in the bootstrap template it always shows me a that broken file image. Can you help me? this does have me stuck as I have tried different file types. Thanks in advance
Can you help me with a Nav Bar problem? The Nav Bar I insert from the bootstrap pull-down menu is not the same as the one in the video. And I can not get the inserted nav bar as instructed to function like the one in the video. Thank You, Todd

I am a good Graphic Designer and I have been using programs such as Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, etc. very well for 2 decades and I have tried unsuccessfully to enter the world of Web page design. Many have told me to try Wix, WordPress, Blogger, Weebly, etc. but when I try them, some are so simple that they limit me greatly in design and others are so full of code that they end up completely discouraging me. Therefore, I ask you: If I am a graphic designer with experience in photography, design concepts, color, and artistic illustration, is there a program like Illustrator or Photoshop that allows me to concentrate more on free design and forget about code? I saw your two Dreamweaver tutorials which make me a little hopeful, but do you think the best option is to continue with Dreamwaver? Or maybe you know another program that you think suits what I'm looking for? Thank you very much for your kind attention Master.
