  • In April 2020, the Parrish Art Museum invited more than 100 artists living and working on Long Island’s East End to contribute their voices to a historical record.

Thank you for this posting Nishan. I love to contemplate the resonance between the past, the broken, and the creative process in reaching toward to future with hope and new possibilities. Your "pandemic" sculpture is strikingly more visceral with raw references to the dissembling of life as we have known it. It also reminds me of West African references in art with its recognition of the forces of nature and spirituality. Artists help us all digest the traumas of life.

Thank you, Nishan, for this short but meaningful link between your history and your ongoing artistic accomplishments. I remember well a past exhibit in New York City and hope to see your online performance in March at the Parrish.

Congratulations. Though 2,5 minutes only, but a nice insight into the studio of an artist. New pieces with cut and reassambled sculptures are striking. Archi Galentz, Berlin, Germany
