Soggy Luge! Glad you are feeling better and hopefully these trails dry out some more!! I’ve done the Luge when it started raining on me once and it was a slippery, sketchy trip down.
In all the years I've ridden the Luge, I have never seen a hiker on the descent. I assumed it was off limits for hikers. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open for that... that could be a disaster. Glad you're feeling better! Great video!
Great vid Adam! Looks like you gave it more time than I did. I though it would be mostly fine couple days after the rain when I hit but unfortunately not. I'll have mine posted shortly. Looking forward to the next group ride!
Ah the Luge! Another trail that has eluded me. Looks like a fun ride. Wondering if it’s worth the climb though 🤨. Anyway good to see you back in the bike Adam. Glad you’re all healthy again!
Thanks Elias! I think the Luge is worth the climb to experience it for the first time. We met a woman who was on an acoustic bike and was on her third lap! So it was worth it to her to climb it three times. ✌🏼🤟🏼
Hi Adam, not sure if you'd catch this but I wanted to send a msg anyway as I am watching this. First - I just got over a 7 day ordeal with strep throat this past week, so I definitely felt the pain you had! Couldn't sleep for two nights - the worst pain I've ever had in my throat, in my entire life. Second - I wanted to pick your brain. I am trying to figure out between two bikes and wanted to get your opinion. Between two bikes I am really going back and forth on ....first was the Stumpjumper Evo Comp Alloy Elite for $4800 - and second was a Turbo Levo Comp Alloy that is currently cut down to $5625 - which is only 800 more to get into the emtb world. The dilemma is do I go in 800 more and get a emtb that allows for easier climbing but unable to bike in any OC Park? Or go with the SJ Evo that allows me to use it on all OC Parks, but unfortunately is not an emtb. I live really close (3 miles) from the start of the Luge trail, and also near Whiting Ranch, so I am conflicted on what makes more sense. Your thoughts? Appreciate any opinion you may have!
Hey Simon, glad to hear you’re over the Strep! It’s just awful. As for which bike to get, I LOVE my Levo comp and I’m so glad I got it. The Stumpjumper Evo is a great bike too, but if you’re looking to get into an eBike, now is a great time. Yes, OC park does not allow eBikes…. for now. I don’t know when that will change but every day there’s more and more Class 1 eBikes (like the Levo) on the trails and inevitably there’s going to have to be a concession to allow at least Class 1 on trails. San Clemente Dog Park already allows Class 1 eBikes. Legally, you are allowed to have an “assisted mobility device” in OC Parks in order to enjoy the trails if you’re unable to ride an analog bike. I know it’s a tough decision but I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either bike. ✌🏼🤟🏼
Glad to see you out and riding.
Thanks! Feels good to riding again! ✌🏼🤟🏼
Love the Luge. Glad you’re riding again
Thanks Omar! It’s good to be back on the bike! ✌🏼🤟🏼
Man, it looks so pretty up there after all of the rain that we have been getting! I love the green hills!
Sure does! ✌🏼🤟🏼
Watching this has given me enough of a push to decide that I need to check The Luge off my list. I'll be making a trip soon! Thank you!
Welcome! Let me know what you think of it! ✌🏼🤟🏼
Great video Adam, I need to get out to this trail. So good to see you out again. Hope your feeling better now. Look forward to riding with you again.
Thanks so much Doug! Let me know when you hit it and I’ll try to join you! ✌🏼🤟🏼

@@sethwashere all in due time my friend. Just let me get this group ride behind me and I can actually ride my bike again😅
@@venacava_mtb You do have your hands full! Well I know the community thanks you!
Did you ever consider one of the SL models? I’m currently debating the Turbo Levo and the Kenevo SL
I never looked into the SL but I know a lot of people like it. Are you able to demo each of them to see which you like best? ✌🏼🤟🏼
