I absolutely love this video because it was just so real and approachable and it reminded me that when I go in September, I want to take her slow and enjoy. Thank you.
First time in Paris it is wise to have a day or two of touristy stuff without guilt. Get it out the way then you can spend a week just relaxing in different parts of Paris as it is so big
Couldn’t agree more! The size of the city can be so overwhelming, and the tourist activities can take all day. We were definitely happy to have time to ourselves to explore!
Thanks for watching, so happy to hear you enjoyed it! This was in late September 2022. It was great weather and the crowds weren’t bad! We returned in late November, and the crowds were almost nonexistent, but definitely a lot colder!
So glad you enjoyed it! We really appreciate you checking out our channel! Plenty more travel content on the way 😃 have a fantastic time in Paris when you go!
I visit Paris 4-5 times a year. And every time I discover new places, museums, restaurants, nice streets, neighbourhoods, castles just outside paris...
4 or 5 times a year, that must be so nice!! We can definitely see how you would never run out of new things to discover, such a fascinating city! Thanks for checking out the video 😁
@@MaxandSidney From Brussels (Belgium) with the high speed train it is just 1H 20min. Sometimes it's just for a day, first train out and last train back. It's such an energetic city.
In terms of sitting outside a cafe watching the world go by, not sure you should spend too much time doing this on your first visit, unless you have loads of time. There's just so much to see and do. I've been to Paris quite a few times over the years, and certainly indulged in doing nothing when I spent three weeks there in the mid 1990's.
There are an overwhelming amount of things to do in Paris, no doubt! A quick weekend trip probably wouldn’t include time to “do nothing”, but it is such a wonderful way to enjoy Paris!
Your video is good. Much better than other couples videos on Paris I just watched, some Geek something, where all what you see are their faces... I love the men with the ponytail who put his finger in front of his mouth like" Shhht, no noise" when entering the Sacre Coeur There is much better to see at the Louvre than the Mona Lisa! In reality, it takes weeks to really visit Le Louvre. Next time you drink Champagne in Paris, don;t drink the Veuve Cliquot, it's industrial and the worse quality Champagne.....
I only spent a couple days in Paris so I didn't get to see ALL the touristy spots, so I'd be open to going back some day. However, I wasn't that impressed with Paris. It was much dirtier than other European cities I'd been to. But you can't beat the Eiffel Tower twinkling at night. I'm shocked that Sam tried a snail 😆
That’s fair, it’s definitely not the place to go if you are looking for a clean and comfortable experience. Similar to New York, Paris does have an energy to it that is hard to describe. And the food is pretty incredible. But definitely wouldn’t rate it as one of the cleaner cities we’ve seen 😅
@@MaxandSidney despite being from Paris, ive never been to the Louvre but If I visit the museum someday, the monalisa will be the last thing that I would like to see. I hope you enjoyed your visit there though
@@Dresseurdemouche Being from Paris without ever going to the Louvre is not a good position to judge people visiting this museum ^_^; There's a LOT of major paintings in the rooms around to the Joconde one, so it's for real a good spot to visit if you don't have a lot of time to put into this museum.

You did so well with so many words except Seine and Montmartre....

Your video is one of the best I’ve seen on Paris! Merci !!!❤️
Wow, we are so happy to hear that! Thank you for watching 😊
Nice video. Thanks for creating this. If I may ask, about what time of year was this? It looks summery, but not too many tourists.
Thanks

What was the name of your guide or company that took you through the Louvre? Merci encore.
We used GetYourGuide. It was nice because we got to see the Mona Lisa first and then had the rest of our time to explore the whole museum!
@@MaxandSidney Thank you! That's exactly what I want. My wife and I take a lot of pictures and guides tend to rush us. Thank you again.

GetYourGuide, apologies for missing it 😊

Why is it so important to see the Mona Lisa just "to get our picture" like everyone else? Do people even LOOK at art anymore?
Pretty hard to look at it with the mass of humanity surrounding it 😂

You know nothing if you can't appreciate the beauty and vibe of Paris. Go back to Des Moines Dunkin has the donuts and atmosphere that you miss
tourists come to the louvre only to see the mona lisa... so disrespectful
The crowds were insane!

They see whatever they want to see, as long as they pay for it. It might be a loss for them, but to call that 'disrespectful'...
please learn correct pronunciation of "Seine." its like Sen, not See-in. (:
