I'm excited for Agent Stone weirdly enough hahaha. I just love him and find him the best human character addition to the universe. His comical adoration for Robotnik just makes him fit so well in the universe. I also found out a lot love him too and even want him in the games.
Hey Omn1, just wanted to give the heads up that it sounds like the Helluva Boss season 2 Finale is coming out today. Good to hear you enjoyed the movie though.
There's a huge amount to love in this movie. I wish they dialed down Jim Carrey in the third act so we could focus on Super Sonic/Shadow and Shadow's sacrifice for the sake of Maria (instead of cutting to Jim Carrey spanking himself with a comically large hand...). And we needed the OG soundtrack for longer, especially Live and Learn! Besides that, all the characterisation of Shadow and dealing with his story was spot on.
Thank you for the introduction! I'm taking my son and former care taking individual to see this tomorrow. I enjoyed the first movie with them. The second was okay so I have high hopes for this 3rd!
My only complaint with this film (and maybe this is by design, because you know, "Gotta Go Fast!") is the pacing. This thing just TAKES OFF right from the get go and never really slows down to breathe. Aside from that minor complaint, I had a blast with this. Definitely the best of the three, and Keanu killed it as Shadow as we all pretty much expected he would. Carrey was golden yet again (although maybe a bit too much for the film's own good at times) and I'm glad that Paramount seemed to hear the complaints from the previous film about the human side characters playing way too much of a role in a Sonic film. Can't call myself a big Sonic fan, BUT as somebody who did own Sonic Adventure 2 on the GameCube back in the day, hearing "Live and Learn" again brought back so many memories. Only thing this film was missing was a cheeky addition of "I Am ... All of Me" included somewhere in a scene with Shadow (but I digress) 😉

The movie was so much fun and the last act was truly epic and holy hell that post Credit scene made my entire theater scream
