Before I continue, yes I believe it to be a flat enclosed system.... so I'm not trying to bust your balls and say you're wrong.
The Bible doesn't directly say it's flat... if you're claiming it does, then u know it well enough to know it doesn't use the word flat when describing it. "Upon the breadth of the Earth" is probably as close there is to the flat statement.
I have altered my approach to say, "Although the Bible doesn't directly say the Earth is flat, if there was a conclusion to be drawn from the Bible about the Earth's shape, it is undoubtedly pointing to a flat enclosed cosmology."
The reason for my change in approach, is to attempt to not run off who I'm speaking with, within the first few sentences. I'm sure you've noticed the metaphorical fangs that come out in people when u talk about the shape of the Earth. Bc this is an important topic, we should give it the best we can muster up, as the eternal destination of som souls could be on the line.

Serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field that Lord had made. So it wasn't a beast that the Lord made , and did the Lord make it at all or did God (Elohim) make it? The first part of Genesis God (Elohim) made everything, male and female were created together at the same time (after the animals of the earth) and they were told to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. The Lord ( yehovah) made a garden then made a man and gave him life by filling him with part of his own spirit and then made a woman from this man. The Serpent was already in the garden. Throughout the Bible Trees just like today are used to refer to people. You trace your family tree. You trace your roots. On the surface the scriptures appear to be words and sentences but are parables and metaphors, we are digging for buried treasure eating the fruit of our Father.
The serpent is a symbol of kundalini, which when awakened, rises to the brain and crown chakra. Then one can experience the immortality of the soul.

You may want to study your bible a little more closely. In Genesis 5 Cain is not listed in Adams generations. Abel was not listed because he had already died. Cain is the son of the "serpent", the evil one! 1John 3:12 tells that Cain was of the wicked one. There were only 3 people in the Garden of Eden and we know that Adam was not the evil one. If you study how Genesis describes one pregnancy and recorded 2 births, you will see that Cain and Abel are superfecundation or superfetation twins. Another clue is when it uses the word again. Genesis 4:2 And again she bare his brother Abel.

What I have come to understand is that Adam was given authority over the beasts. The snake is a beast that was telling Eve his helper what to do. I think of Eve as the subconscious mind Adam is conscious mind. The beasts are our emotions. When we act on our emotions we are letting the beast (our emotions) lead us.
In the Bible it talks of the pulling down of strongholds. Our emotions pull us down. The Bible teaches us to go to a higher state of mind. Then we are above the beasts (emotions). We think clearer when we rise higher in our mind.
Also the Holy Spirit guides us to all truth when we let Him lead our thoughts. He is our helper and guide to all truth. Sound mind is also talked about in the Bible.
Jesus (Savior) Christ (Anointed) could not start His ministry until the Holy Spirit came to live in him and guide him along the way. I honestly belive the Holy Spirit of God was speaking through Jesus and was showing us, that we look like son of man on the outside, yet on the inside we are carrying the Spirit of God within us. God with us.
I also have come to know after much study that the religious rulers were pointing out and picking apart everything Christ Jesus was doing. So their eyes were wide open to good and evil. We all can have the religious mind at times picking apart what everyone is doing. The religious rulers did this to the point of killing the son of man. Where did they kill the Son of man? The place of the Skull, Golgotha.
I believe that the Spirit of God was teaching us about the battle that rages in our mind, in the skull. Which side do we want to go? The side of religion or the side of life? To put in our mind The tree of knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life. Eating is knowledge going into the mind.
Christ said He is the way, truth and life. One brings peace the other fear.
Jesus didn't claim to be A King of any religion. He claimed to be A Son of man and Son of God.
The freedom is ours to choose to be named a religion or name of Gods' Son. One name we were given at birth by God, the other name we chose to take on.
I believe we all must have a taste of the tree of knowledge to know how constraing it is to live by fear. Then when we have our fill, we will come to rest and trust in God for all things through God's Holy Spirit.
Then from our mind the beast and false prophet will be destroyed. We will have life for all eternity. No more fear in our mind that we are not pleasing to God, just peace that surpasses all understanding. Leaning no longer on our own understanding, giving up control to place all our trust in God. Be still and know God.

Was the Serpent jealous over Adam and Eve ? It almost seems like the anger of getting passed over for a promotion or not being #1 anymore. Sort of like the Jews being angry over Jesus because it turns out that he's bringing the Gentiles in for salvation. Then - some people angry over the fact that the Jews still have a covenant with the Lord. This study really got me thinking - thank you Bryan - I enjoy your preaching and so do my kids
God said that he made all kinds of fruit baring trees. He said All trees that are pleasing to the eye are good for food. Eve saw the tree was pleasing to the eye and good for food. Meaning it’s okay to eat. Not that it tastes good. Gentiles think good for food means it taste good. In a Jewish mind good for food means it’s ok to eat it.

The Adam and Eve story in Genesis is very similar to other near eastern creation stories. I think we need to be careful about reading in a literal fashion. Also, there is no Satan in the Bible. There are satans but no Satans.

I've never seen where fallen angels have sperm and can procreate anywhere in the Bible. They're spirit beings. You're right about whether or not they would be able to be saved. "Jesus died once for ALL," would go right out the window.

Before I Got back in to studying the Bible, for some reason I thought when the serpent deceived Eve that Adam was not there when she took of the fruit. Then she came to Adam and convinced him to eat of it but good night man, he was standing with her the whole time! Gen. 3:6 'and gave also unto her husband WITH her." So I have to wonder, WHY didn't Adam speak up since we believe he was not deceived?! Maybe it says alot for man kinds desire of the flesh that before the first sin was committed (taking and eating of the fruit) Adam held his peace and wanted to take of the fruit also.
I believe the serpent in the garden was the full blown Dragon. That's why dragons are all over mythology. When he got cursed he lost his legs and became Leviathan.
If you look at the first part of Eze: 28:18
Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee
He brings forth fire from his "midst", that is within. Now look at Leviathan in Job:
Job 41:19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
Job 41:20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
Job 41:21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
Also these verses are more evednce he's Satan:

So Leviathan is a king over all children of pride and he can make covenants. He's swimming around in the Deep (the water's above) making it boil with his fire breath. He's in the 2nd heaven right now and will be cast down to the 1st heaven and then eventually down to the earth.
Satan's first fall was before the garden:
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

He fell because of his pride, not because he beguiled Eve. He got kicked out of 3rd heaven (still has access to 2nd) and became the Dragon/Serpent. I believe when he spoke to God in Job he was doing it from under the Crystal sea which is the hardened firmament of the 2nd heaven. You cannot see God directly with iniquity in you.

Nowhere in Genesis account states Adam an Eve where immortal.
Ezekiel 28-11-19 talking about the King of Tyre in poetry. This is an Earthly king.......i.e. a man.....

Before I go further, I want to clear up the notion that the snake in the garden is Satan the Devil.

Eden means fruitful place, Lucifer's Eden, or fruitful place is in Jer. 4. When the earth was in the enviroment of eternity. If you read John 10:35, "said" is past tense. Jesus said, "isn't it written in the law", old testament. Psalms 82:6 "I have said" again past tense. Gen. 3:5 "and ye will be as gods". An angel is flesh and blood. A Morning Star is not. Adam and Eve were not the first created people. Now you will tell me: "but the Bible says so." They were the first of a new and final race of people. If this wasn't so then explain to us how all these different races are here on this earth today.
Really Brian, you want us to believe that Adam and Eve merely ate fruit from a forbidden fruit tree (like the Bible says). The alterations and mis translations in the Bible cause catastrophic confusion in the minds of believers. Yet another video which I feel it is necessary to give an alternative explanation. The Devil/Satan/Serpent is perhaps the most misunderstood subject in the Bible. It takes a whole study of the Bible to come to the conclusions I have. I do not intend to sound controversial, but a genuine attempt to get over the Truth.
First of all, the style in which these stories are written are poetic dramatization using personification. We form pictures in our mind, by which we understand the process going on, and this is done so child-like mind can understand in any language. In order to be brief, I suggest you read the following verses describing the human heart which produces evil; Jeremiah 17:9; Mark 7:21-23; James 1:13-16; Rom 8:7.
For the most part, whenever Devil/Satan/Serpent is mentioned, there is the human connection. In the beginning, the cunning of the carnal mind is said to be more cunning than the beast of the field. This is because mankind was given the ability to reason, whereas the animals were not.
Gen 3:16 is about cursing the Serpent (carnal mind) and making it the basest in all of God's animal kingdom. The human brain is the most complex of all God's creation. The carnal mind eventually be destroyed in the 'Lake of Fire' along with sin and death. It is only right that in the Kingdom of God inhabited by those resurrected to immortality, there can be no such thing as an immortal sinner. That is why I believe God's angels cannot sin, because they do God's will. We have to listen to the words of Jesus to get this understanding.
There is only one thing in all of God's creation that is enmity with him. This is what you will have read in Rom 8:7 and it is Paul that alone uses this term; "carnal mind". Jesus (Mark 7:21-23) tells us the origin of all sin, and that is what we must apply. We have to attribute the workings of the Devil/Satan/Serpent to evil human nature represented by the heart that is evil and deceitful.
I do not believe the Devil/Satan/Serpent are supernatural spirit beings created by God. Any verses where that is thought to be the case, can be explained to show that it is a person or persons at the root.
This will sound foreign to anyone convinced otherwise, and so I can only urge you to seriously study the subject and come to your own conclusions and not accept the false teaching that is fantasy and make believe.
So if the serpent was Satan, God said to the serpent you will crawl on your belly for the rest of your days, so are you saying Satan is disabled and has no legs.
The simple conclusion is that the serpent was not satan but a beast of the field as said in Gen chp3.
Lucifer ( as we call Satan) did not become a fallen angel till somewhere in the Isiah book. "O Lucifer the son of the morning,how art thou cut to ground".that is about 20 books after genisis so how is he the serpent when he was still one of God's Angel's? Don't just read the Bible and pretend to know, read every faction of it. Including the book of Noah and Enoch which explains "the watchers" who were fallen Angel's who created the Giants by breeding with human women which was why God believed the great flood was truly necessary to wipe then out. Now if you read that you would know that it was one of the watchers in the form of a serpent to rebel against god for casting them down to "watch earth". Lucifer which you call satan :,which actually means an "evil entity" is not fitting AT ALL as we know what he is and his name, Lucifer the fallen Morningstar of God, and he did not fall and become leaders of the watchers(later turned demons) until long after the book of Genesis. Of course this is all up for interpretation, I have been studying all books of the divine including the ones that did not make it into the Bible and a lot of light is she'd on this exact question, it's just not in the bible

A serpent IS a beast of the field, and it was categorised in with the beasts of the field (Gen3:1), therefore being singled out from among the rest.

I disagree with you Bryan on the serpent being Lucifer. The very first verse you read in Gen 3:1 states that the serpent was a "beast of the field, which the Lord God had made" this line places the serpent among the physical creatures that were created in Gen 1:24-25. Furthermore you read in Gen 3:14 that the serpent was "cursed above all cattle, and every beast of the field"

I do not take the text to mean God created a unique creature called the Serpent. That is a false assumption. I do see that the wisdom, or thinking of the Serpent was more cunning than the beast of the field. So then, we are comparing minds/brains. When you think about this, man is made in the image of God and is the pinnacle of God's creation. Man is the only creature God gave the ability to reason and communicate with God. In the Book of Isaiah, God says; "come, let us reason together.." The animals cannot reason. Even the most evil of minds can reason, and that makes the evil mind perversely cunning. I have explained in another post in these comments following this video, what I understand the Devil/Satan/Serpent represents. The Apostle Paul explains (Rom 8:7) there is only one thing in all of God's creation that is enmity with him; it is the "carnal mind". That is our battle, the same as Jesus had, to overcome it.

Instead of reading for the big picture made up of small important parts. You are taking the small parts from the big picture to make a new big picture such as a line of people being sons of a fallen angel Satan. Sin came from Adam and Eve and passed down from there.
