Hi Thina. I am a farmer in Botswana I usually don't watch videos of African farmers because of their bad systems housing included. But with you it's completely different you are a class of your own. Keep up the good work gal.
I'm deaf interested in investing in pig farming , your information seems to be of great importance unfortunately no sign language interpreter provided ,kindly avail us with sign language interpreter so that we also benefit from this . thank you
Am so glad that finally NTV came to your farm & I was actually inspired by your story & have been following your farm & I was inspired to start mine as well .be blessed & all the best
As a young interested farmer I was totally inspired of your story through watching this video about Value farm. Please keep teaching and inspire us with more videos like this one above. I'm Craig from Solomon Islands. Just one thing I really want to know from you is, how do you keep your records for each piglet? Through excel or manually written the records on paper and put it on a wall?. please let me know.
I'm glad that Thina is sharing her story but she should tell other farmers that even if she started from humble beginnings she had extra Capital injection to stimulate the success of the farm. Because the is no ways in less than 2 years starting from 10 piglets who can able to get your pigs profit to build such empire
Hi. This is very exciting. We are in a planning stage with my little brother to start Pigs Farming, the info you shares here goes a long and made me see that there is nothing hectic here, you just need to have passion, the rest God will take care. Thank a lot. Watching from...🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Wow i looked up "IMO" just now and it stands for "indigenous microorganism", and it just organically accelerates the composting process. It's made by using rice bran or corn as a base to collect loose microorganisms in the air, with sugar or mollasses added in to help them grow faster, fermented for a few weeks, then added to water to make a spray solution or added directly to compost. This is amazing, it would be useful in many other places as well, and its both safe and organic, and can be made at home almost for free. Fantastic!
I'm impressed to be honest. Having started my own farm I must pay a visit here one day all the way from Malaysia. Bless you sister for sharing this. Honestly a very good experience.
Hello Christine, congratulations for the beautiful work you do. We farmers of the Francophonie will be grateful to you for translating your great videos so that we can benefit from your know-how. God bless you.
Hi I am so inspired with what you are doing, I am also doing mixed farming as well. I wish to visit your farm to see how you do things. I am in South Africa.KZN province

Hi Christen, I like the IMO system and am thinking of using it on my farm but are you not concerned that small particles from the wood shavings might get into the respiratory system of the pigs, especially the younger ones?
This is impressive - the idea of starting small is great even if you have cash, you need to learn when the farm is small and grow with time. This is not a restriction - you can still start big. I'm planning on starting a piggery project in April 2024 after over 15 years as an employee. It's also important to plan well so that you have adequate finances to take care of your family since the farm may not generate profit immediately.
Manifesting a pig farm and business 🙏 never wanted anything this much. Had started a small structure my parents sold the pig but I'll be back to it next year.
I'm very interested in your business and it convinced me to start mine. Can you assist me with some good ideas. As you said it is important to get informations from the experienced farmers
