His voice is incredibly soothing & simply perfection for any narration, he could read me the phone book & I would be intruiged just by the sound of his voice & the way he narrates his words. Lol.

    • @danni1993
      @danni1993 2 роки тому +1

      Yeah, it kind of makes me wonder if they were guilty, to begin with.
      Back then, the cops didn't care if you were guilty or not, and the DAs just wants convictions.
      If those guys were truly 'ruthless killers' and 'the most dangerous men' on death row...they had nothing to lose. You'd think they would have murdered the guards and everyone they came in contact with, if those statements were true.
      And, 'vicious killers' aren't going be talked out of rape or murder, or have a pact together.

    • @Joxman2k
      @Joxman2k 2 роки тому +5

      I was thinking the same thing. Just because they messed up earlier in their lives doesn't mean they are completely horrible evil people. They just wanted to literally save their own lives and escape. Murder seemed to be the last thing they wanted to do.
      Emotionally I agree with wanting to kill some people for horrible crimes, but in reality we should not, as a society, do so. Life is precious, no matter how horrible that life behaves. Some of them are redeemable, and some of them are just broke people that cant be fixed. Some are actually innocent. It's rare but it happens.

    • @axlengland
      @axlengland 2 роки тому

      @@Joxman2k I couldn't disagree more. It is not a punishment to keep a murderer institutionalized for life; it is nothing more than a trivial, symbolic gesture of "justice". He's still sucking our air, playing video games, watching tv. Contributing nothing to society but taking, taking, taking- just as he did on the outside.
      Capital punishment saves us, the taxpayers, over usd $ 70,000+ per prisoner per annum.
      Real justice (other than capital) would be sending them to a work camp where they could actually give back, and pay for not only their heinous crimes, but for their terrible burden on society.

Noped out of a bad situation on the highway because cops had both sides of the highway shut down, which I knew didn't happen unless shots were fired or might be. Come to find out later it was a police stand off with an armed robber. Glad I knew that little tidbit and many more from watching shows just like this.

      @@tormentedcitizen3695 I´m talking about convicted; not criminal! Though I think too that many of the people inside jail are somehow criminal, I think especially with death sentences there need to be some sort of extra security to avoid people who didn't do THAT PARTICULAR crime, they were convicted for get executed. It doesn't mean they are or were 'completely çrime-free'... It just means an extra safeguard for not killing people who don't deserve that final punishment.
      As a European I am against deathpenalty, because the USA practice makes very clear, it doesn't deter people from doing these kind of crimes. But also because it can't really be a punishment, because we all will certainly die at some moment. The punishment basicly is that the convicts know when they will die. Or that they will die from lethal injection or hanging or whatever and the rest of us don't know. Their life is shorter than maybe was meant, but how to know? Maybe their life is much longer because they are in jail and not somebody´s target in the streets... So where is the punishment?
      All in all I just say: STOP DEATH SENTENCES NOW!

If there is actually clear video proof of them committing the murder, I’m ok with them being executed. If not, I’m not. Too many people were railroaded into confessing to crimes they did not commit.

    Don't know why the death penalty is such a hotly contested debate. If you commit 1st degree murder, meaning you have time to stop before the victim is dead but don't, you SHOULD be put to death. The sad part is even though MOST of murderers submit their victims to sometimes unspeakable pain like mutilation while alive, the US seems to care about the how comfortable the murderer is. We can't make them suffer even though you made your victim suffer by not being allowed to breath ever again. Because of their actions they SHOULD suffer for what they did, some folks think life in prison is more painful yet in America's system they again are making it more comfortable for the scum. It's punishment for what you did wrong, it's not supposed to be comfortable.

    • @vxlyrie5562
      @vxlyrie5562 2 роки тому +5

      i hear your opinion, but a quick and painless death is merciful. living in a 8x12ft cell for 23 hours a day is not. it is a fate worse than death, ensuring that the criminals will live a bleak, inescapable life almost entirely spent in a cell. if you take the time to research the prison conditions further, you will see that it is anything but comfortable. either way, it's not about which would cause the most suffering, the fact is that the death penalty forces us as a society to compromise our main principles and human rights to give murderers peace.

    • @crash6581

      @@vxlyrie5562 they don't sit in cells 23 hours a day unless they are on lock-down for something they did while in prison. they get 3 meals a day and a warm bed, better than to many senior citizens who worked hard all of their lives yet get crapped on. That is why we need to rid of lethal injections and bring back the electric chair or gas chambers. prisoners get visits from friends and family, get to call them and send letters back and forth.
