First of all, let me congratulate you on your 100th episode. Way to go!! Love the spool at 3:42! It's always nice hearing them spool and then they go "quiet" as they thunder down the runway. I like the wide takes of these approaches like you did with American at 5:05 onward btw. I must say, as much as I am disappointed with the minimalistic approach to the livery by CAL, at 10:25 it actually looks pretty decent. I immediately started imaging how so much better it would look with bigger decals and a bigger bird. I wished they had let the wings fill the whole tail section and let the neck and beek stretch down the fuselage a bit. But you did a pretty good job on its profile. And it delivered so well on the noise at 10:30 and with the flyby shortly after that... BEAUTIFUL!! I really enjoyed this, your 100th episode. Way to go!
very well said! the CAL livery should have been a simplified version of the old one, same colours but a little less detail, i dont think purple is the colour to represent the caribbean, blue and green sure do! they couldve included some green and blue in the purple mix and this livery would be sooo much better
Thank you for putting so much thought into your comment! The spool-up sound of the Leaps I really like also. The livery grew on me a bit, but I do agree with you; the bird should be the same size as previous. That missed approach was amazing to witness :D
@@jetstreamtt yes the currently pinkish purple with green and blue would look epic, and to bring back the bigger more detailed bird(but less detail than the original livery) and to make the CARIBBEAN title bigger and the font of the previous livery would look perfect in my opinion

CONGRATS on the 100th episode!!! the perfect episode for the max video!!! looking forward to many more awesome vids in 2022 and beyond!!! i really wihsed that the max 8 first commercial flight would have been to tobago so i could have flown it, probably would have been the cas if our borders were still closed, but oh well it is how it is. i wonder if anyone is gonna do a tripreport on the first flight as it is currently live..
CAL livery on a budget ?, there could of kept the old one and add Caribbean below it, what does the purple represent?, trying to think of something in the Caribbean that`s purple.
Well '737-8' is the official Type Designation. '737 MAX' is just a marketing name. Neither is wrong and it's up to each airline how they choose to market themselves.

737-8. Some airlines chose to leave it as that.
