Hey, so good to see a new video from you! I hope you're well and have just been busy. The landscaping indicates that this house is in the process of being overgrown by the forest, and I love it. What better way to be "one with nature," eh? It just melts into the surrounding foliage, and the almost secret little garden with the definitely hidden chickens just looks so cosy and cute, yet very functional. I absolutely love the kitchen with all your customisation and I chuckled a little at the ladder you hid in what looks like a pantry from the outside. The bathroom being basically open to the rest of the house gave me a little anxiety, but since she obviously lives there alone with nobody to disturb her nearby (they'd have to get seriously lost to stumble upon this secluded cottage), it's probably okay. 🤷♀ The only thing I thought while you were using shelves for details was: "Sims are going to put plates there. And clay. And anything else they happen to have in their hands. Oh, I hope she puts something on top and shrinks it to invisibility." Sorry, I love using shelves that way, too, and I often forget blocking the slots with something, so I have had my fair share of struggles. With just one sim, you can probably catch them putting something down, but during gameplay, a smelly plate or glass you can't find can drive you a little crazy. Cleaning something else up can help, but something they don't pick up all the dishes to clean ... Sorry. Just unloading here. 😅 Anyway, I'm happy to have gotten that treat from you today, thank you! Thank you for another awesome comment 🥰 Yes I just went through a busy patch at work, but hope to get back to more regular uploads now that things have calmed down 🙂 And thanks for the great tip about the shelves! I never actually do gameplay, so I wasn’t aware of that issue. I do always playtest my builds to make sure everything is functional, but Ive never played long enough to see that happen. I will be sure to block the slots next time I use shelves with TOOL! Lol and so true on the bathroom, I started with a wall but it made the space feel too cramped for my liking. So it was a sacrificial lamb to my aesthetic 😂 well thank you again for the thoughtful comment, I hope you have a great week!
@The Sim Scrolls Damn, yeah, when work gets busy, it can sometimes be hard to even keep the household in order, and you often find yourself spacing out when you finally get home; there's not even any energy left to have fun and do something creative. I hope work is more manageable for you now! Yeah, I'd hoped you wouldn't see the thing with the shelves as harsh criticism or anything; it wasn't meant like that at all. Glad you found it helpful! I'm somewhat of a rare creature for loving building, but also CAS and gameplay, depending on my mood - though the bugs and glitches drive me insane. 😂
