Nice bag and with the Mollie webbing on the outside it would allow you to place a g.i. canteen carrier pouch to the outside I'd wanted to carry other ( more gear inside if needed like maybe a saw and fixed blade knife along with extra food or other emergency gear if needed like first aid and shelter and emergency bivy or blankets something to think about. Keep up the good work can't wait to see more of your channel learn something each time I do. Thank you.
Thanks, nice video. This might be a good lightweight kit for us, we are now using small backpacks from academy, and have water, lunches and rain gear. This might work for us.
That's pretty cool and I could see where that would be a good piece of equipment. I'm just getting started in Bushcrafting and appreciate any tips I can get. I wish you andyoursa very merry Christmas and a happy New year
Great bag Wendell. I have this bag in the black and the coyote brown. One with the Keith Canteen set up like you with the Uberleben Ti Stoker Flatpack and one with the Keith 40 Oz Bottle and a Mocha pot with the Firebox Nano. Great versatile bag and another Great video my friend. Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁
Now that is a real good compact stove I've had them before they work great work with the fuel tabs wood I'm pretty sure you can even put a transient stove inside that if you open it up only thing it's missing is a great
@@BingWatcher Well, I’ve never needed an awl once in the woods, but that’s a valid option (although I’d personally carry a much lighter sail needle). Can opener? Who carries heavy canned food? And wouldn’t a P35 can opener be way lighter? Pot grabber? I have a dedicated titanium one, but to be honest I much prefer and 99.99% carry pots with built-in folding handles. As for saw/knives... no way I’d ever rely on the ones in a multitool. You try cutting wood with the built-in saw and watch me with my Silkysaw. Same for comparing the anemic folding knife in multitools to a proper full-tang knife. Again, multitools are basically useless in the woods. Carry proper gear.
Thanks for the reply. I guess we're not going to agree completely. I think it's s matter how one defines "in the woods". If were talking a scouting day hike on well established and used trails, I will 100% stand behind using the set-up in the video. If you're going into the back lands where there's a high possibility of being unable to get assistance if things go sideways or if you're going to be planning to be out for a few days, then I agree completely with your thoughts and I would be happy to be using what you suggested. 🤔🤗
I thought you were using the Helikon-Tex kit bag for your canteen/scouting setup no? I can't keep up with you UA-camrs, ya'll change gear bags more often than a woman changes shoes lol!
That is not a folding stove a folding stove will fold up and open up ready to use you got to put that thing together okay imagine winter time your fingers are frozen cold you don't feel anything and try and put that sucker together that's where the firebox Gen 2 5 in comes in real Handy it just pops right open don't have to monkey around with putting it together.
Great video demo of this molle shoulder bag that I have been thinking about buying. Thank you for sharing👍
Awesome set up man! That bag looks pretty nice and roomy.

Wendell, Nicely done video! It seems like a through and light weight scouting kit, but it doesn't allow for hardly anything to hold for eating lunch!

Outstanding kit my friend! Merry Christmas to you and your family god bless you buddy
Merry Christmas! Nice looking bag and loadout!
Chuck the multitool; not a lot of nuts and bolts in the woods. :)
➡Well, gear needs maintenance. 🤔
➕How about a can opener, pot grabber, saw, knife, awl, and more? 🙄❓

So true! Each new free piece of gear becomes the new "favorite thing" for most of YT!
Very cool 🤠
