      Superb. I’m amazed Peter Green and his Fleetwood Mac group doesn’t get more credit. This should have far more views. Green was a genius. Life destroyed by drugs.

    What a masterpiece! Underpinned by 3 wonderful guitar players. The piece is simple yet intricate and the wonderful interplay is what makes it a masterpiece. Only Fleetwood Mac with the 3 leading guitar players could pull this off.

      Yeah it was very cool too by the original cat who wrote the melody they “borrowed”. Back in 1957. Chuck Berry. “Deep feeling”. Would have been an easy lawsuit win today. !!

      Well if I'm not mistaken, it would appear 4 guitarists, the bass gets no mention and very little coverage, yet is very crucial to the whole feel of this musical masterpiece

    I was 13 years old and my 25 year old Aunt used to play this constantly. I just found it! Thank you!!! This is the back ground music of my life. 1969 was perfect.

    This was then-19-year old Danny Kirwan’s first recording with Fleetwood Mac... Be sure to listen to his “Sunny Side of Heaven” from the 1972 FM album “Bare Trees”.

      Interestingly, Danny Kirwan who grew up listening to jazz musicians like Django Reinhardt, Eddie Lang and Joe Venuti, recorded Venuti's "Jigsaw Puzzle Blues" originally from 1933, as the B side of Albatross, copying Jimmy Dorsey's clarinet solo almost letter perfect on guitar: ua-cam.com/video/aZ0MNze6pgY/v-deo.html

    Peter Green with his now legendary guitarr "Greenie", later owned by Gary Moore and presently Kirk Hammett of Metallica. Such a piece of music history still going strong.

    These are the days when I had seen them so often in Wolverhampton…after this they hit big, but so remember the Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac…that guitar could sing..didn’t need lyrics.

    I've always loved this,
    it's so soothing to listen to in this crazy world at present.
    A plasterer who i used to work with, always had a battered old acoustic guitar
    with him in the works van, he did a good rendition of this instrumental
    it brings back a lot of memories, of when this first came out.

    I saw fleetwood at the ritz in bornmouth in 1979. They turned up 3hours late as their van had broken down. It was worth waiting for. What the fuck. !

      Although very different, you might also enjoy this one from the band. The original (and best imo) Fleetwood Mac scored Hits with “Albatross” and “Oh Well” (in Australia anyway) so I’ve known the songs forever but I love watching the guys play them.     This is absolutely one of the most beautiful instrumentals ever recorded. I remember hearing it after my Air Force tour 1965-1969. Fleetwood Mac was great back then. Anybody out there have the album "Then Play On"?

    Really a great instrument version , i like the drums being used, i think it adds a great deal to the rythum , plus a clear view of the drumming strokes adds a lot for me ; watching the evident fun amoungst the players also adds so much than you for the Uploading much appreciated

    Wonder if M&S know anything about this piece, using it on their ads. The history of it and composer. Just heard today being played by a lad busking, believe it or not, outside of M&S Newcastle. He played excellent. Its a classic. Got to be a guitarists favourite.

    My Uncle played this tune on a tape recorder the size of a suitcase when I was seven years old. Now it flowes from out of nowhere, into my cellphone... Very misterious. Thanks for the upload....😂😂
