Love Raul Malo and his band and his music ! I like reading these comments. I recently met a person that told me he knew Raul. This person I met was a promoter in Nashville. In 1996, the company I worked for transferred me to WV from my state of PA. At that time, I began listening to the Mavericks. It wasn't until a year or so ago, after my husband passed away, that I started listening to music that I always enjoyed. Heaven knows, most of today's music is not what I want to listen to. Like you, I am now 79. Every day I have to listen to at least one of his recordings.
