2016 nissan Altima bad TCM no PARK or N

- P17f0 juddering and P2813 select solenoid code and wont clear with scan tool. Transmission whines in park with no P or N displaying on dash and BCM code set a PNP (B2604) only sets in park or neutral. Tcm was the culprit.
I am having this exact issue with my 2013 Nissan Altima. It looks like I need to replace the TCM to fix everything.

@@teewild290 little gift for you, use nitrogen to fill your tires, few PSI will do. Available for free at Costco tire center. It will prevent losing air in tires, especially when temperature changes. Can't thank you enough God bless!
Got the same issue 2014 pathfinder. Same exact I key and b tcm dtcs. Was going to get the tcm reprogrammed but now I’m going to do what you did. Thanks a lot man. Godbless

Sorry im late but also make sure your catalytic converter is not plugged, If i wont go past 2000rpm in park. Transmission itself can be a problem if the belt pulleies in the transmission is binding at a certain gear. This one i had to replace both tcm and cvt transmission.
Results were good. The P and D shows back on the display and that judder code pf-- i cant remember disappeared too and drove great.

Wasup man great video short and understandable explanation. Quick question 2013 altima 2.5 got that B2604 code no P or N in the dash indicator like yours and shifts a little hard not too bad going into D or R but otherwise drives great. So I should replace TCM?
If u getting that's exact same symptoms like this one yes. This one has that one hard shift it will drive fine all day. But the TCM was no good

I’m still getting neutral and when I put it in drive it says drive sport neutral shows drive, reverse shows neutral, and park shows reverse and when I play with the shifter a bit it goes back to normal and reverse and park put me in reverse could this still be the issue though.?
Yours maybe out of adjustment check the nut of the transmission where the cable attaches. Also stretch cable could be the issue too
Hi brother i have b2603 shift position code and i have same i key system error message and the gear shift sometimes not moving when I start the car only when I push the small button to release it.

Will a bad TCM stop your Altima from pulling? Going into gear?
It should still move but it will not variet the gears, if it won't move u have a mechanical/hydraulic issue

It is mine, it is an altima 2008, it brings the suich inside in the cvt it gives me the code in bcm of suich pnp I put another tcm it is not the same numbering it is different and it deletes it but it marks me suich of position I do not remember the code but with Those other tcm no longer mark me or PN D. and with yours, which is numbered 16, it does not mark me neither P nor N as well as your case, my question is will the suich that goes inside or the tcm? why when I put P or N of the gearbox to the tcm if there is a signal like in the other speeds
Ok yea on the 08 the internal set up is different from the 2016 model. Yea the tcm display the PRNDL on the dash display. If tcm is new like bought from dealer or else where, it has to be programmed because those are blank and will do the same thing and will not shift.
I’m having a similar problem with my Altima, does the new tcm you put in need to be reprogrammed by an expert or can I do the battery truck?

Ebay I bought mine from.the junkyard yes if they have those models laid out there. No you good bro. No u Don't have to write it if u bought a used one. New one from dealer u will have too.
Was it shifting hard with the bad tcm?
If R,or D was selected it banged into gear but drove smoothly after that

@@miggyspain3218 it's that code keeps setting off replace the TCM. Does it show park on the display like in my video?. Whic car u working with same car?
@@teewild290 the werid thing is that light never show up on the dash but there a weird noise going on whenever I switch "gears" so I used a scan tool and thats the code that showed up b2604 PNP switch. Maybe its starting to go bad ?

Pnp switch is on top of the transmission right where the shifter lever is bolted on. Tcm is bolted next to the ecm by battery the small, single connected module
