He has become my favorite author too. I have read 15 of his Star Wars novels, I still need to read Choices of One. Of them Scoundrels is one of my favorites that most people don’t read. I have read 7 non-Star Wars books of his. Of them I loved the Icarus Hunt the most and am currently reading The 5th of the 9 Cobra and very much enjoying them. I will definitely check out Angel Mass, the Conqueror series, and Manta’s Gift. I haven’t read any of those yet. I enjoyed reading the first Cobra trilogy because it felt like I was seeing Timothy start his writing journey. The Cobra series has 9 books now and I would recommend you try them. I’m half way through Cobra Guardian which is the second the the Cobra War trilogy and in this second Cobra trilogy he has definitely grown as an Author as he wrote it 20 years after writing the first trilogy. Part of the reason I am loving the series is because it allows me to watch him grow as an Author over time.
I really want to read the rest of the Cobra books. The problem is I can’t find them anywhere in used bookstores, and I have too many other books to buy online in my TBR currently, but I really want to get to them eventually.
Conquerors series sounds really intriguing. A friend of mine has enjoyed his Manticore series he did with David Weber. I'd like to read those too. I've read almost all his Star Wars ones and am interested in branching out into his original stuff. This video was helpful. Looking forward to more from your channel.
I see Manticore pop up here and there. I’m glad to hear you liked it. How did it feel being a cooperative effort? What were your favorites from his Star Wars books?
My friend read Manticore. I haven't read it yet. But my friend has enjoyed both Zahn and Weber separately, so she enjoyed the team-up of their work. The Star Wars Zahn books I haven't read yet are Outbound Flight and Survivors as they are some of the only ones of Zahn's not on audiobook. I also haven't finished the Ascendancy trilogy yet, got a little burned out after the first one, I'll get back to it when I'm getting hyped for the next live action project he is in like the Ahsoka show. My favorites are the OT Zahn trilogy and the two that have Eli Vanto. I'd put Hand of Thrawn Duology next which was my most recent read of his earlier this year. Currently working on a Mara Jade cosplay for the 501st. I also got to meet Zahn at Celebration 2019, cool guy,
How much do you typically read in a day or week? Do you have a page goal or some time allotted for reading? Might be a cool video idea to talk about your reading habit.
