I'm a fan of yours and Harbinger. I've been using Harbinger speakers and subwoofers for 3yrs now and it has never dissapointed. I have 2 VS 18 and 4 vari 4115
Great review again, Dudes! Always appreciate how honest you are, and that is a great note about the cloth behind the grill. I look forward to the next video!
I did the volume test with my Vari 4112’s and K12.2’s a while back and even though the K12.2s came out on top I still love the Vari 4112’s because of the clarity and volume they push for the price. We’re talking Vari 4112 $400-450 vs $999 for K12.2. If a speaker sound is bad at high volumes I definitely wouldn’t recommend them but the 4000 series changed Harbinger. The biggest difference is you don’t get those ear piercing highs you get from the QSCs, but I don’t even like high treble. I pair them with the QSC KS118 and the sound is great.
Cool vid, mostly, but your level meter set at dBA will result in erroneous low end results, should be dBC. I'd also suggest the music test has vocals in the mix.
NEW speakers????, I have a pair of vary v4115 I purchase pre covid, they're all the exact same thing except for the small plate above the grill. I love mine; I use them for DJing plus an 18" power subwoofer, plenty of power I never turn them pass mid volume because they're super loud. I paid $400 ea. at guitar center back then.
Great video! You guys get to the point, give great info and sum it up in the end. Well done, New Subscriber. I would mention that regarding the sub/grill material issue....another idea is If you traced a circular pattern just a bit larger than the ports with a sharpie and cut it out carefully I think that might fix the bass fluttering issue while still using 90% of the material to protect the speaker from dust. Thoughts?
By the way, what is the songs you used to play in the speaker's in the video? (( i think i know why they claim ' 130-131 ' dB on the 4415, they probably / might've put the mic's right up against the metal cover on the speaker so they can see/claim the 131 dB loudness ))
(i have 2 QSC K2 K10.2's speakers and use them for my DJ'ing for a few years now. They just recently failed and my plan is to upgrade to those sexy/beautiful Harbinger 4115's / 4415's!! i love the heavy awesome bass fro mthe speakers aswell. i did do a sound test and tested outthe bluetooth stuff and holly shit the har harbinger 4115's got some insane awesome sound! i will be picking up 2 Harbinger 4115's or the 4415's. My plan is to remove the grille cloth's so i can see the woofer and tweeter's and allow more vents/ports breathing. The cloths atthe vents/ports definitely muffles them out alittle. (also, are these star screws or philips or a different type of screws? if it is star design type screws, it should be easy to remove the grille and peel the cloths off. i don't like the grille cloths on PA speakers/subs. it does muffle the sound alittle and choke off the vents/ports alittle. (that's what i think)---- i won't be getting any subwoofers because i don't wanna spend alot for my small DJ fast protable setup. Audio mixer, DJ Controller, and 2 powerful PA Speakers that have awesome loud bass and beautiful design. I can't wait to purchase 2 Harbinger 4115's / 4415's. Aspecially for how low the prices is. I've sound tested them in Guitar Center and i fell in love with them. I didn't purchase them atthat time. I will soon tho! My 2 PA speakers i been using for about 3 or 4 year's now is the QSC K2 k10.2's and no subs. i honestly am not really satisfied with my QSC's. i way back i did have and used 2 Rockville 15 inch PA speakers before i gotten my QSC's.
question: I use a Tascam Model 12 mixer .. all instruments (guitar, synths, mic, etc.) connected directly into the mixer. Do I connect the two main outputs left and right from the mixer into the 4415 channel 3 L/R inputs? Probably never need or use inputs 1 or 2 on the 4415's. Thoughts anyone ... ? Thanks!
Hello friendsl hope you are well. I just have one question. Where can I get the amplifiers for the Harbinger VS18? Mine burned out. I hope you answer me. Thank you very much.
i think they're very similar volumes/sound. Just some upgraded parts/componets but i think they have a same type of volume/sound equally but i might be wrong on this. anyone can help recorrect me what i'm saying.
2 way speakers have a tweeter and a built in subwoofer/mid'sub in them., ( midbass and treble but the midbass is a midrange and bass together but alot of PA speakers now'a'days have legit insane bass in them lol. kind of like a subwoofer with a tweeter built in xD
If the amp is rated at 2500 watts, and the speakers are rated ay 400 watts... why not just make a really good 400-600 watt amp to tie to the speakers? Why boast 2500 watts when the speaker can't handle near that.
@@randywells5477 of course. But why boast a peak wattage on an amp when the speaker can’t handle it? I seriously doubt you’d ever meter the 2500 watts on that amp anyway.
@@rcb_matt I got 2 v2215 since 2016!!! Blew one horn, rated 600!! Watts peak 😁, 180 watts RMS!!!! Good for small gigs, around the house!! Not for my serious gigs!!!! Blow them in 2 seconds!!! Lmfao 😂😂😂.
The 2500 watt advertising is just a fake number. All the Speaker companies are doing this now to try to convey reason to upgrade to the latest and greatest model. Watts are a measure of power consumption, not loudness or "throw" of the volume. Most of these loud speakers get to around the same peak DB levels these days. My Alto TS312 from 2018 are advertised at 2000 watts, 131 DB. My Alto TS212s I had were also "2000" watt" speakers, but only advertised at 128 DB max output level. The latest Alto TS 412/415 model is now "2500 watts" but basically a similiar 450 watt LF+200+ HF amp to the drivers like these Harbingers have.
What happened to the main dude? I know he got married!! Last review I saw him on? The harbinger 12 subwoofer video. Really liked him 😁, good humor 😂😂!!

They are absolutely great DJ speakers that don't deplete your bank account!

What about the TS4 series? Would the cloth used between the grill and the speaker do the same?
You guys need to review the Harbinger MLS1000. Those things are nice. I have a pair.
We already have them, so we will be reviewing them soon! Stay tuned!
I"m new the this, what do you mean to "buy a sub"? is it to buy a new subwoofer to connect?
Can anyone tell me the differences with output and sound between the 3415 and the 4415?
Is the 4415 really a lot louder

That's what I'm worried about Harbingers
Try contacting Harbinger directly to see if you can buy a replacement amplifier
what happened to mike?
which one is louder? 4415 or 4115 ? Thanks!

Hey dudes pls can you sell some of your reviewed speakers to me. I'll appreciate that. Especially Vari 4415
are these loudspeakers or, Subwoofers?
Two-way powered loudspeakers

Can I use it for car
If you have a 120v inverter
A 6 For this? It's kind of a harsh rating. I don't agree. They sound better than qsc and ev imo. I just compared them at Guitar Center.

Peak vs: RMS

Comparing the 2215’s to any of their modern speakers isn’t even close.

Are you that long haired guy with glasses in the older videos?
