My grandads cousin Jim batty went to school with Eddie gray they was best fiends, sat next to each other in class, both obviously played for their school team and one day a scout from Leeds came and watched their team play, my grandad told me they used to bounce of each other on the pitch but that particular day Eddie never once passed the ball to my granddads cousin and he got selected for a trial at Leeds and the rest is history.
I'm a Spurs fan. - old enough to remember the wonderful Eddie Gray in his prime! At 18yo and despite playing out of position Archie is already improving out of sight and a lesson to his sloppy teammates! Future skipper potential for sure - if we can only keep him out of bigger clubs' clutches!

Eddie was some player. Astonishingly only capped 12 times.......never met him but comes over as a great person.
