The Ukrainian people are amazing. Just when you think you've seen it all, the courage, the persistence, they again exceed your expectations. The young people are so mature and responsible to take on the rebuilding projects of the old folks that have been impacted. The soldiers defending the land are truly Heroes, but these young people rebuilding their communities are also heroes.

If you were in eastern ukraine where there is 30 percent russian ethnic population they would tell you the opposite of what the western media tells you.
They will tell you that Ukraine is cruel as Ukraine has been shelling residential areas in eastern ukraine since the year 2014 in the civil war that raged 8 long years with countless civilians killed by ukranian shelling just because they supported russia instead

I'm an old British Army veteran (64). Seeing what is happening in the world now is terrible. I don't understand the evil things people do. When will mankind ever learn to live, help, support and be kind to each other? It's not difficult to be kind. I am so so sorry for the people of Ukraine right now. If I was in the Russian military I would desert and join the Ukrainian defense or some organization that's helping to ease the suffering of the innocent. Sorry if what I write isn't everyone's opinion, but all this hate and evil is just beyond my comprehension. It's making me more and more depressed. Please people everywhere, just stop fighting and be kind to one and other.
