I just brought the Classics Bundle, and I have installed them through the Spitfire App. However, they are not showing up in Kontakt. Neither are they showing up in Native Access, and with no serial number provided with any of these libraries, I can’t seem to find a way to load them into Native Access.
Why is it that when ever I install a Labs product, after downloading, it still says install? It's like it never downloaded anything. However, when I check where they installed, which is the default path, It's all there. I'm using FL Studio, and I also can't seem to find any of the Downloaded content. All i'm seeing is Discover in the stand alone, Labs plugin, and BBC Symphony Orchestra in FL Studio.
Honestly it took me a few hours just to get the plugin to appear in Logic. And then every instrument needs to be "repaired" as soon as it's installed so everything needs to be downloaded twice. And then there must be something else wrong because everything is horribly distorted. The whole process seems unnecessarily complicated. I do of course appreciate that so many instruments are being published for free, but all the drama and problem-solving is just too much for me.
Musicians put up with the absolute worst user experiences. The Spitfire products are stunning, musically speaking, but the hoops you have to jump through to get them to work...they'd be laughed out of business in any commercial setting.
Can u add none serial spitfire on kontact so all spitfire audio packs can be played in one player. It's annoying to have different way of opening different spitfire audio vsts which are saved on the same hardrive.
Did you ever figure this out? Many of them have no serial number, Kontakt is telling me "DUPLICATE" A library by this name is already etc... but it appears nowhere.
You didn't say what path to set for VST2, VST3, and AAX. On Windows 11, these default to "Program Files -> Common Files. But I'm installing the actual samples to my D drive. What is the correct path for these three items? Should they be on the D drive with the actual libraries themselves (the "Default Content Path")? Thank you for any assistance. I'm new at this so that probably explains my questions.

Hi. I am a little confused about the app used to run the downloaded midi instruments? Can I download them as they are and use them or do I have to use a third party like Kontakt or SA Recording libraries? I have done the first part of the instructions until the download actions. It is getting them up and running on the video that is confusing me? For example with the section talking about a dedicated Spitfire plugin and then downloading the correlating plugin and Library contents? I this a dedicated plugin per package and if so where do I find it? As all the packages I have downloaded do not include a plugin? Any help is appreciated.
Hey Monica, each Spitfire Plugin library (BBC, Abbey Road, LABS, etc) comes with their own plugin. This has to be accessed via your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), and should be available in your VST/ AU Instruments list. If this is not the case, please contact us at spitfireaudio.com/support
I can't believe I even have to search this in 2024. Downloaded Iceli, it shows up a DEMO in kontakt. I have a full updated working version of Kontakt 6.8. Nothing plays. Can't get it off demo mode. Anyone can help?

Hello, I installed my Ricotti Mallets and would love to know if this can be added as a Kontakt Library? Or is it available only via the "Files" Browser?
Hi Lars, This library is a Kontakt Full Library, which means it is only available via the Files Tab. I'd recommend using the Quickload menu in Kontakt to speed up your workflow: ua-cam.com/video/tAQOkgDh5zI/v-deo.html
@@SPITFIREAUDIOCLIPS Thank you Lars for asking this question! I came here looking for this exactly and was disappointed when I didn't see it addressed.
To add more context to my frustrations...I put my Spitfire instruments in a dedicated folder. When I use Ableton, it scans for plugins. But the ONLY SF ones It finds, are from SA Recordings (why they create a different brand for this and, thus, a different file path altogether is anyone's guess). But yes, it does not locate Spitfire Audio. I guess I could add each one manually to Kontakt (sort of....not even really. When I go to add Glass & Steel for instance, I can open a preset to load the instrument, but then it's gone when I close the folder. There seems to be no way to add it to my Kontakt libraries. If only these plugins showed up when I scanned for plugins like the SA Recording one does.) Very confusing. I think this is more the insanity of Kontakt than SF, but still, why is this so complicated?
@@ryanholladay5665 You can only access Glass and Steel via Kontakt, so it will not appear in the plugin menu. This is a Kontakt Full instrument, so can only be loaded via the Files Tab instead of the Browser.
@@SPITFIREAUDIOCLIPS I don't see that mentioned anywhere in any of Spitfires description of the library. Can you explain what "full" means? This is typically because your external hard drive has permissions that do not allow the App to have access. If you are on Mac OS 10.14 and above, you should allow the Spitfire Audio App to have Full Disk Access.
What a horrible and rushed demo of how to install Spit Audio in conjunction with Kontakt. At times, the narrator was speaking of a Spit library while at the NI website, where Kontakt was also needed, and saying things like: "after plugin is installed"....which plug, Kontakts or Spits? Seriously, you're at Kontakts' download webpage, and speaking about Spits plugins. This alone makes for some very difficult to follow instructions. Terrible job!!!!! Yes, i'm writing 'Spit', in reference to this video, and company, with reason. By the way, this is a criticism by someone who teaches at a university. I do know a thing or two about pedagogy, and how to clearly communicate details; which, in case I haven't made myself clear, this video lacks doing so on a megalithic scale.

Hi there, on the right side of the downloads tab you will be able to see two icons that resemble a pause button (two verticle lines) - these are the pause buttons for each active download. You can use those buttons to halt the active downloads until you are ready to proceed.
