I deck out my SVD for maximum recoil reduction (iron sight, no red dot) except for fabric grip. I must say, though, I found your build interesting. And that gun variant is fantastic. I skipped this season’s battle pass, but I hope it becomes available in the store in the future.
I run heavy barrel and light suppressor + fire specialist. Based on my tests it's the only way to fully offset the range reduction of the fire specialist while still keeping the extra fire damage. The decreased fire rate is barely noticable if you're accurate. Rapid fire and muzzle booster both increase recoil significantly. The point is to destroy people at all ranges. Out of all the different builds I've tried for this gun, I do best with this one. So supressor, heavy barrel, leather wrap, extended mag and red dot. Sure it's pretty slow to ads but once you do it destroys people. This and the shotgun with respawning trip mines combo on the smaller maps are the ultimate jumping sweat destroyers.
@@ent2220 i recommend you heavy grip to reduce flinch control is very helpful for longshot headshots i use the same like your build but instead of suppresor use heavy grip is very helpful 👍👌
Nice build but from my knowledge and testing the meta build with SVD would be the heavy barrel and cleaners class. With this combo you 1 shot kill every class beside phantoms to the head making it the best build by far.
@runek100 yeah you guys are right. I'm sure pre fire bullet buff if you used cleaners without heavy barrel it wouldn't tick enough to kill in 2 shots. With heavy and cleaners buffing from 49 to 51 plus fire tick it 2 shot. However I could be mistaken but I'm sure that used to be the case.

This build does 98 to head and with cleaners one shot as well I think just generally the svd is 98 to the head
Nope, you should not run heavy with cleaners. It is either heavy or cleaners.
