I'm starting to play with Starlord, and he is great at crowd control. The way his tornado synergises with his elemental attacks is amazing. With the right ISOs he can be almost as broken as Ms Marvel.
After watching this and twerking my StarLord I can say that Star-Lord is definitely one of my favorite CC/Support units. The elemental attributes added to allies and I didn't even know about the shock thing until this video. He is my second favorite CC unit behind Magneto so far
Nice. Im glad crowd control is highlighted in the ISO build. Even without party synergy starlord can hurricane+shock on his own and start paralyzing mobs. His kit can be fun to play around with, but overall I think he's just ok... I dont think he has anything that stands out from the middle of the pack.

Only character (that I know of) to be granted a huge damage boost after using her extreme attack. I play her quite a bit right now but am curious of how to optimize her abilities. Great vid! I know it’s not a big deal, but it kinda bothers me that his “best team” isn’t the Guardians. It’s just a lore thing, but still kinda meh about it.
Just up him at lvl 100 and he his really fun to play ! Not the best for me, but i enjoy the gameplay, btw it would be great to have a guide for Wolve & Elektra because they seems to always be the best combinaison for optimal team !

I've been meaning to ask, but by what standard do you rate the character stats (A-F) when you do the guides? I'd like to see Thor (for my team) next, Loki (because my wife plays as him), or Ms. Marvel as I typically play as her. Great guides, sir. Please keep up the awesome work. I always look forward to seeing a new guide posted.
@@TonyBingGaming I suspect that you take the person with the top stat in the category and set their number as 100%, then calculate everyone else based off that number, but I'll be interested to see what you explain it. Loved the Hawkeye guide, btw. Don't feel bad about being biased with him. Embrace that bias.
Star lord is really amazing. I've been using blackpanther, magneto, storm, wolverine, thor, hulk and venom! I got Isos that increase strength by 1000 XD

Moreover, most of the time you can put 4 times the same ISO8 to have a better increase. Is this interesting to do this? Thank you for your work!
Is anyone else having an issue with loading into a black screen after the Thanos fight? Running the Guardians through the game on mighty and it’s happened at least 8 times now. I’ve played on tv, and on handheld with airplane mode on.
TonyBingGaming I have the physical version. I deleted the game and then redownloaded the update, still no good. I haven’t messed with the save file, but obviously don’t want to delete that.
It’s worked before, I’ve beaten the final boss many times. It just started yesterday. Hopefully the last patch caused it and they will fix it. Been playing Doom to calm down, it’s helping.
I see that after using his abilities, starlord’s light and heavy attacks turn into the element color. Do the light/heavy attacks have the effects applied due to the abilities used?
My opinion of star lord at first was meh, I liked him and he was fun to play but I pretty much benched him as soon as my roster started going up. Now that I know about how his tornado works with the other elements my interest in him has gone up significantly.
I have a question about the "Decrease the number of attacks before inflicting status effect" ISOs. When Starlord uses a tornado, it keeps inflicting damage to the enemies. does every damage hit counts as an "attack" or does it only count the moment you launch the tornado?
@@TonyBingGaming Cool! Are you able to tell the difference between ice and shock elements? I know burning is far easier to inflict than both, and it also works on elites, but it doesn't do much to stagger bars. Ice and shock on the other hand, are harder to inflict even on small minions, don't work on elites (as far as my testing goes) but decreases stagger bars far more efficiently, and gives crit damage on small minions. Couldn't tell any difference between ice and shock, though, as both give crit damage on inflicted minions. I'm inclined to believe frozen lasts longer but it's harder to inflict than shock.
@@fabriciofla8019 All effects can work on elites and bosses but have a much lower chance (I froze Thanos once as Star-Lord lol). Regarding Ice and Shock afaik they both kinda the same. CC the enemy and then all hits are crits.

Burning is almost free, a couple of hits and a regular mob is on fire, and with a few more elites also burn. I guess the higher chance is the tradeoff for not giving crits (as well as the burning damage of course).
Just got the game yesterday right now I'm using hulk iron man spiderman and black widow don't have ghost rider yet also anyway you can do like a guide to synergy attacks they aren't well explained really I'm still early on like just got luke but not reslly sure exactly how to do them and iron man or daredevil next
I had discovered he can self synergize on accident. After i found out i tried to see if any other character could do it but i couldn't find one. Do you know any others that can do this or is he the only one?
Hawkeye can synergize with himself. His shock arrows detonate the timed explosive arrows (forgot the ability name). Also, no really a synergy, but Black Panther 4th ability sends enemies airborne, then his 3 juggles them midair. More of a slick looking combo, but since he doesn't do much crowd control, it's really helpful for him.
I own the game, but I haven't been able to dive in, beside the opening intro with Guardians of the Galaxy, because my very limited game time is currently going elsewhere. I really want this to be a good game, but it doesn't seem to be getting much love from a lot of the gamers I follow. Anyone loving the game?
I absolutely love it, I never played the old ultimate alliance games because of lack of time and money but I really miss the X-Men Legends games, this game is even better IMO because it has more than just X-Men and one of my favourites Punisher is going to be added to the game soon 👌 My only complaint really is the lack of costumes and lack of Gambit 😭😂 but I hear they'll be adding more costumes and characters later so I got the expansion and fingers crossed they'll release Gambit in one of the updates
The sheer number of playable characters combined with the character building makes it look like an enjoyable game. Thanks guys. I'm going to hit it up this week.

I've actually used Star-Lord quite a bit lately to level him up so I can get past his solo trial. He's a pretty fun character to play with.

I'd imagine each tick as it can freeze mid turn.

Really depends what you're looking to do. Farm ISOs'? Do speed trials? Have fun? Create a lore team etc.

It's a flawed gem that gets a lot of leeway due to the IP.
