Very clear explanation Nikhilan. These are treasures given by our ancestors to the world. Few questions Should the eyes be closed during pranayama and what if one nostril is slightly blocked which is normal for most people.
The eyes should be closed Sir. Ya there will be a slight block in one nostril. That’s normal. We can do that practice. If we have difficulty in breathing due to cold then we shall take time until it gets cured and then we can start the exercise

Nithilan is it ok to start on any side. Bcoz in Tamil you have asked us to start from right side of our nostril. Here you have mentioned to start from left side of our nostril.
Left or right pls don't confuse
We can do both sides. Starting in Left maintains the body temperature, which will be good for everyone to practice. Starting in right will give faster results but the internal body temperature will increase. If we are working, then the high body temperature will be a nuisance. So it’s good to start at the Left side itself

Very good explanation. I started the breathing exercise since I heard it in Tamil. I have a question and I hope you will also answer questions from youtube comments.
Whenever I do this exercise, I find that one of the nostrils are blocked, meaning it is difficult to inhale or exhale. Is that normal? I am just afraid that I might be doing it wrong.
It is normal Sir. Unless you have nose blockages due to cold, it’s normal than one side of the nostril will blow only less air than the other.
I feel little bit heart palpitations is this ok

Is the morning and evening time exactly during the sunset and sunrise. Or we can do early morning empty stomach and after six Because in abroad the sunset and suns rise will be some times very late . Is there some connection
The time given has a meaning. So sticking to the given time is recommended. Your location doesn’t matter, check the sunrise and sunset time in the place where you are and start practising

Oh I left that. We should always sit on a Mat or a double folded bed sheet while we sit on the floor for meditation brother. We should not sit on the directly ground
