First off, beautiful work! Love the blade shape. I am a newer subscriber. Couple questions: 1st, I would love to purchase a finished blank of this knife in 80crv2, if possible. I will be emailing your website today. Fingers crossed. 2nd, I see a lot of custom knives finished with the top rear of the handle scales cut diagonally down and I am confused by this (other than for aesthetically). Functionally, this is where the web of your thumb and index finger would lay when making hard push cuts. A big reason to keep handle material there for comfort, rather than removing it. Is there a method/reasoning that I am overlooking for this style? Would love to see a Bowie style created.
Thank you, we'll be waiting for your email then. I believe you want your thumb rest further towards the tip when hard push cutting (as it gives you more leverage) and the scales couldn't possibly reach that far anyway. Of course, if someone likes to rest their thumb so close to the actual handle and wants an additional "meat" there, we can make a knife that way, after all it's custom work for a reason 😁
What know would you like to see us making next? 🤔
a classic bowie knife
A combat dagger!
Mabi Kukri
How about something with a full height convex grind?
Wowzers!!!
Heck yeah man. Love the design. Finished product is CLEAN!
Thank you 😊
I love this knife! Great design, great handle material and perfect execution! Excellent work
Nice knife... but uh... the background music you used is atrocious...
Gdzie filmy? ;) Pozdrówki.
Overall nice knife, but that sloppy tip is something to improve on the next one! Great work non the less tho!
What type of steel do you use?
D2, it's in the description 😊
Brilliant craftsmanship. Gorgeous Wharncliffe!
