@Jayjay-xe7sz sometimes you want other perspectives but they don't stack up lol
Hilarious!!! Even wording the lyrics and still had no clue.
1. Drake bought a Tupac ring at an auction so KDot said he would pay double to get it back
2. "I hate the way you dress.. walk.. talk.." etc is a DMX reference w/Breakfast Club interview. Kind of a double on hating everything Drake is
3. Diddy "Puff" slapped Drake and his security guard Chubbs didn't do anything about it
4. "Back to Back I like that record... Imma get back to that for the record.." KDot giving us a little hint of his next move with "6:16 in LA"
5. The whole "Crodie" scheme is mad deep. It makes fun of Toronto's gangs and calling them soft. Also a Toronto rapper Sizzlac made a diss track video at "New Ho King" and was killed days after it released. So KDot says he is eating there with a "blammy" alludes that he can go to Drake's hometown and drop him on camera. Also Sizzlac was rumored to be the man who robbed Drake at gunpoint and stole his chains. Crazy connections! (shoutout freemaxbwaves on reddit for this find)
Overall I loved how this diss jumped from soft/big brother vibes, hard hitting/tough talk, mad disrespect about everything Drake is/stands for and also light and playful. The more I've listened to it the more layers come out and I enjoy it!
Crodie is a name that Drake named his cat 😂😂😂😂😂 Kendrick is different
Brodie is slang for bro/brother/homie. Crodie is a Crip version of that since they don't like to use the B. (C)rip vs (B)loods.
So was he xalling him pussy when he was saying xoradie after every line thats axtually good
@HPDizzle I thought he was saying crodie to reference he's Canadian, that's what I've heard the word used for irl, maybe it's a play on both.

@ComplexWork accolades mean something. Being the only rapper with a pulitzer means something.
Take care is a classic
@@shadowfox8425 it had nothing to do with his pen, but the production of the album as a whole. So it was an award about how it sounded, not so much the message.
Love your content, this reaction and a big fan. No disrespect when I say this or saying that your reaction wasn’t enough, strictly from a Kendrick fan to another. The Knox hill breakdown helped me see some stuff that I missed and watching both of yours together I got a better full scope understanding, it’s 42 min but worth the watch
Do you remember when Drake was the representative for Toronto Raptors when they're when they ring with Kawhi Leonard that's what he said you got a ring fire
“Dumbed down for Kendrick standards so people can understand it”… as bars are flying over his head.
I know it’s your first listen, but you missed a lot here… one that I see a lot of people missing is the depth of that Joel Osteen bit… he says “am I battling ghosts or am AI?” Then he references Haley Joel Osment, but uses the name Joel Osteen, who is a crooked pastor of a super church… so he’s talking about how fraudulent Drake is, while referencing the two movies Haley Joel Osment is famous for, The 6th Sense and AI. Just bars.
Yes thank you! I was watching Stevie struggle, he missed the whole diss. 😂
I completely missed this. most reactors did. firee
He needs To sleep on it AND RETHINK.
Nah that’s a reach my guy
@@WCBN it’s literally in the song… my guy
This track is FIYO! K‐dot deserved a more positive reaction.
The being a father part hit for me as a dad. There isnt any recovering from that to me. Who cares about rap, he just called out how poor of a father you are to the world. If youre a poor father, you can never be a good man.
Subjective man. Who knows if drakes a bad dad
@@lifes_zard9318he never mentioned his son for years! He hid him. The only reason he even mentions him now is because someone dissed him about having a son
@@phillipperez9156so if he doesn’t post him on social media it automatically means he’s a bad father ? with that logic Kendrick must be the worst dad ever lol
Yeah it’s super subjective until the mother or the son himself come out one day like yeah my daddy went and got milk we’ll never know. & nor should we.
@@MiguelRodriguez-yx3hq- It's got nothing to do with social media. 🙄 Kendrick is RAISING HIS SON. Every day. Period! He ain't just buying his kid some fancy clothes & shoes, and then sending him out the door to let the other parent raise him, so he can ignore him for months on end again & continue f*cking whores in peace. Drake's almost 40yrs old & still moving like he's 22. He's a CLOWN who ain't gonna never grow up... so how can he be a good father?! Make it make sense.
Never fails to amaze me how many bars Stevie misses cause he can’t chill out with his ego for 5 seconds
He can't stop
22:12 when you get that email you've been long waiting for
That sample right before the track start is Richard Pryor from the movie the wiz towards the end when the exposed the wizard as a fake he is saying that “everything you say about me is trust ima fake”
We all know Stevie gonna LOVE this diss.😂💯🔥
Stevie is Stupid.
He ruined this reaction.
Always looks confused. Annoys me
I was just about to comment ik Stevie happier than a muthaf***** rn 😂😂
