I’m hearing impaired, trust when I said I’m afraid every day hoping this doesn’t happen to me or any one part of the deaf community. Used to be afraid of going out anywhere being afraid of getting stopped by a cop again I was lucky the cop tapped my shoulder to get my attention when I was walking. Not too many out here understands that they’ll encounter people with disabilities especially ones that are full on deaf or that can hear a small percentage
