@casilatino yup. Everyone knows who Angel is, Aja and the MVP from the Allstars game whose name I can't pronounce, because they played with or against CC. And this was that kind of moment. Lexy phrased something in a way that created a funny double-entendres, and you got to see Lexy, and Caitlin, and Kelsie’s humanity in how they enjoyed it together. I’d guess this endeared them to most who saw it.
fever organization made a good call on editing the video and made an equally good call on releasing the entire meet and greet with Simone biles and Gabby Thomas. Watching the Fever girls so giddy to be able to meet those Olympians was heartwarming and a great look for women’s sports!
That Kelsey Mitchell broke laughing without seeing Clark looking over suggests they have gotten to know each other on and off the court. In an interview Caitlin Clark acknowledged how much Kelsey helped and mentored Clark’s transition to the WNBA. Clark said Kelsey is a locker room leader and is finally healthy. Mitchell has become 3 point sharpshooter and backdoor cutting problem for the other side.
