  • Danza Azteca Xochipilli (Pronounced Zo-she-peel-ee) proudly preserves the memory of the Aztec people by performing traditional dances handed down from generation to generation over thousands of years. The Group Performed for Hoover Elementary students as part of the School’s summer intervention and enrichment program. Students experienced traditional Aztec Dances, learned about traditional instruments and how they were made and how to count in Nahuatl, the traditional language of the Aztec people. The entire presentation was delivered in both English and Spanish. Hoover is in Santa Ana, CA and is part of the Santa Ana Unified School District.
