Osaka-Kobe trip by Changhee & Saeho was so awesome, Osaka was my hometown for quite few yrs, so was very happy to see it showcased. Seyoon & minsang trip however I think won me over just a little more... they really made Singaporean cuisine look delicious x10. Woah... they left me so hungry.

Because Japanese culinary tradition places great importance on presentation as much as taste. It's very similar to many continental European haute cuisine traditions in that regard. One eats with their eyes as much as their taste buds.

It seems that nearly every Korean variety show focuses heavily on meals. I think it is partly because many people in Korea work very long hours, live alone, and live away from their hometowns, so they often have a longing for sitting down to a nice meal with friends of family after a long day at work and these shows kind of fill in those gaps for people by having "friends" to eat a meal with that might be too fancy to prepare for them-self or too expensive to eat very often.

Omg I'm not Japanese, but even I've seen beef tartare before. They serve it with raw egg (it's your own liking. You don't have to eat it).
to be honest i never though singapore would have this much vote as a singaporean not because the food is worst or anything but because generally koreans and japanese cant take very heavy flavoured foods i kind of expected them to prefer japan since its more closely related to them but i have to say having been to almost every single part of japan even though they have very quality food its always sushi or ramen jus like australia where like only burgers are everywhere they seriously lack variety in my opinion. singapore is a place where u have international food that taste like it came from the original country where as in japan they will always modify the food to suit japanese taste.

Comparing the cost of the food in two different countries is unfair really, since Singapore is such an expensive country in general. If you can afford it, it doesn't mean that you're never going to visit there just because the costs are higher. You just expect to spend a bit more. I would've preferred the food more in the Japan trip, but I would have voted for the Singapore itinerary as there was more than just food, and I love Seyoon. It was super entertaining for them to show that ride with the big drop (which is part of the job since it's a TV show), but maybe the audience members wouldn't picture themselves doing it and then wouldn't vote for that side. It was the funniest part though.

i really dont like cho saeho's personality. he is a kind of person whos getting mad so easily if the plan or something didnt go as his planned to be,, i can see nam changhee feel so awkward,, if he's the oldest he should not do that.. everytime i seee cho saeho i feel i see a bad person,, this is my opinion. i just comment this now bc i watched some variety shows that has related to him
