I was kind of hoping for an analysis of ancient histories in general, like perhaps the oral traditions of aborigines in Canada who reportedly saw sailing ships in areas we don't think they went, or other ancient stories from around the world. I don't really care what kind of knife was used to kill Caesar.
I like this video cause I'm tired of hearing these pop culture history influencer types speak in absolutes about stories and assumptions as if they were facts. They can't understand that just cause they read something in a book that that doesn't make it infallible. Its a lazy pathetic way of thinking. Biographics I'm looking at you.
This is why history is and will remain my first love. My Encyclopedia Britannica got me through my adolescence. A great series, keep it up.
Thank you!
Great talk!
Great presentation. I am very interested in reading your books after this brilliant analysis of the sources.
I have often wondered about the ancient sources. Thanks for helping me out in such an interesting manner.

why do people downvote this ?
They were disappointed by the lack of CGI.
Devin Devon hahaha
They don't approve Cesar being a biological cis gender male.
How trustworthy is the ancient sources?... As trustworthy as today's biographies and news... So, not so much.

Ok. The man in the thumbnail looks like the definition of untrustworthy. Just saying
