No man monfils is a great artist because I current time monfils play as good as when he was young but Wawrinka is now a day a challenger player look good but his shot not effective

Brings back memories. I was sad for Stan that he couldn't get the title because it was one of his best opportunities to win one more title after his comeback from injury. And it may have proved to be as he hasn't had any better chances since then here 6 years ago 😢 And Gael was also on a hot streak during this period, defeating Tsitsipas, Medvedev and Stan here and kept up his solid form until injury problems struck when he was making a strong run at Indian Wells.
monfils we call mr elasticman, the SHOWMAN! hes also a bit more correct/accurate than wawrinka.
Methusalem I vs. Methusalem II, love both watching, although would have liked to see Stan the Man winning this title as oldest player ever...

Now a day Wawrinka is Challenger player why he playing tennis just leave it and enjoy the retirement you do all in your young time but in old you look classic but loss against any avarage player many time I seen in win condition you loss the match 😂😂😂😂
Monfils is arguably one of the greatest french tennis players. He couldn't get a slam, mostly due to his clowness, but he did entertain the tour and make us happy. If he would figure how to last and stand best of 5 sets matches, for consecutive matches, he would have probably get a better shot.

Wish people would stop pretending and masking his career behind his "clowness". He simply didn't have the game and consistency for top career. He was especially irrelevant when the top 3 peaked with Murray behind and other strong top 10 players like Del Potro, Nishikori, Dimitrov and Wawrinka. I like Monfils as a player but I hate his fans who try to justify his lack of success as because he just didn't take it seriously enough but had talent
@@cck4978 Monfils had the game, for sure. But not the consistency / mental stamina. So why the lack of consistency? Probably because he didn't take the game seriously enough.
These kind of handshakes will never happen in WTA. Its nice to see them showing respect to each other.
