I cannot say often enough thank you. I am 33 and until I turned 29 I was a „Muslim“ but did not really practice but since I became a Christian i went through hell with so many fake prophets and trying to learn God‘d word reading the Bible but as a beginner I did not understand anything so I started watching UA-cam and listing to do many different people who confused me so much because they were saying things that did not align with the things I read in the Bible. I am so happy i found you Daniel because everything you say is what is exactly written in the Bible and also gives me confidence in my faith to know that now I am living the truth and not believing all those people.

Yes I can explain the true gospel. I've been in my word everyday since last summer. I also watch living waters ministry on UA-cam that explains the gospel so well so I've learned from that ministry so much. The word of God transforms your mind. Put on your full armor of God. The enemy will attack but with your armor on the darts he throws doesn't penetrate. The Lord gave us all we need to overcome. It's all in His word. I encourage you to have one on one time with the Lord daily. It's my lifeline!

I agree we need to read the Bible more. Thank you P.s for myself I need to wake up everyday to be the best person that can be in the Lord's image. I need to take my time to meditate on the Lord's word everyday even if it's just a couple chapters. I'm a slow learner but I do catch on I was always in classes of special ed classes. 6 years ago when I got saved out of the six years when I got saved the four years when I moved I started taking the Lord's word seriously. I notice things started to change slowly like the way I look at life differently and how I look at sin sins....✍️✝️❤️🙏😇

Can you do a video on what happens to someone who grieves or/ and quenches the Holy Spirit.? I am sure that I have done this once or twice. I feel Gods peace and joy in my life most of the time. I’m living in a nursing home and I spend most of my days doing different things in learning about the Bible and teach devotional once a month and everyone here come to me for something they need or need understanding on something and I try my best to give them what they need. I really try to live for the Lord in every way I can but sometimes I feel like I’ve done something wrong and I don’t feel the joy and peace in my life. I hope that I can learn more thru your channel. You have helped me in a lot of ways and I hope you can do a video on something like this so I will know when I do this. God Bless you and your wife with you helping others with these channels!!

Hebrews 4:12-13 could be the reason why Christians don't spend much time in/studying the word..it discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. One one hand none of us wants to have our hearts and minds exposed and on the other hand, its really important that we put ourselves in a position where they are. Thanks for sharing Daniel, this is a great reminder dude.
I once was someone who went to church Wednesday and Sunday, went to bible study on Thursdays. I was not fully knowledgeable. I went because I had to. It was part of the schedule that my foster parents had me do. Back then I think well I have to get up and do this, or while I was there I would think of what it would be like to get this over with. Bible study was fun because I would hang out with my friends and even though we read gods word I was more happy because of the company and food.
I was a young teenager who didn't grasp the idea. Overtime I came closer to the idea. I once offered and did preach once it was fun. I meant a lot to me. I selfishly got baptized because a girl I liked in the church also got baptized. Still to this day I do not know why I even did it. I didn't think it would earn me favor with her. I do not recall anyway. I just did it.
A year or so later I was moved to another foster home. We went to the same church and I continued to go to the same church.
Years later I found my own family as I did not live with them or see them since I was 9 years old in a visit. I was taken from them for good reason that only God knows.
I thank God for that though because it turns out even though it was tough for me. It was the best choice for me. The problem is I turned away from the church. I do not feel a desire to go a church. I use the excuse that people in there are hard on me, they talk bad about you. Truth is I wanted to hear or think this. I started smoking cigarettes ( which is now hard to break ). I self consciously had myself believe they spoke bad about me.
20+ years later I sit and look at my phone reading "Our Daily Bread" I think. Why? Why is it so hard to understand Gods word? Why do I feel, or hear thoughts that tell me things against God.
I know God exists, I know Jesus is my savior. I know this within my heart, but I get contradicting feelings about the topic often. I think to myself something is wrong, something is missing.
Today's "Our Daily Bread" message explains how shiny things can make us desire that more than Gods word. While Gods word should be taught at an early age it will help young people and adults desire Gods word. I would say it is very true. The internet is a big distraction, social media, video games, TV, etc. They are all shiny toys to me.
Yet I have a gift. I love to repair. Give me a broken electronic device, anything that can be plugged in and I will have a way to fix it. Give me an idea and I can draw it and put it into art if not an idea.
I think still I know these things. Why do I fight in my mind about Gods word? Why do I not understand how loving Gods word is.
This video helped me understand why. I once did some jail time. I read the bible daily, I felt so much peace, more than i would feel watching a UA-cam video, doing artwork, or repairing the latest PC or building one.
after my time was up I shared my knowledge for a short time, but that faded. I was more focused on doing what I had to do make sure I did not see another cell again.
I love this video. it reminds me that I need to read Gods word. so that is my new goal. A little a day or more if i desire it. I now know that I cannot understand or rebuke such negative thoughts if I am not reading the Bible. It must be something I read often and learn from it.
Last testimony and thank you if you read all of this it means a lot to me.
I once prayed for help to quit smoking and change my life. for some people may think I'm crazy or wonder why God would do this.. I pray for this help from God. less than a month later I was in the hospital with a hiatus hernia and gut issues. Horrible experience, but it showed me something. My diet, my lifestyle by choice was harming me. I learned so many things about our standard American diet. How Gods word advises on what we should eat. I was far far from what I was once told we should eat. I'm learning so much now that I would love to preach not only Gods word, but truth about the standard American diet, and how today's comfort food and food in general is and can be just as bad as a pack of cigarettes a day. Only Gods word on what we should eat teaches how to eat food that will benefit us. Nurture our bodies and not damage it and it will heal our damaged body.

There is no excuse not to have some sort of bible plan that helps you read a chapter a day and get through the entire bible in about a year.
I don't have one and don't have money for one. So yes there are reasons why people don't have it. I read what I can I am dyslexic and it's really really hard to read and that's not right to say that about people. As a Christian you should be praying for me and for somebody to come and help me

You can actually read it quicker & more thoroughly if you're a motivated Christian. Then you can reread meditate and look up Hebrew & Greek words.
@@shaunnanichols5956 I suggest that you find a Bible-teaching church with teachers who will instruct you in how to properly study your Bible. You cannot be a lone Christian and be successful in your faith. Christians need other Christians for spiritual support and accountability.

I love and follow the lord mostly bc I know he is real, and he died and suffered a lot for us, and he already has done alot for me, his goodness and his pure and loving heart make me fall in love with him. But GOD this is so hard.. So so hard. Im trying my very best to stay positive despite everything. Everything in my life is in chaos. My mental and emotional health is declining, my relationships with my family is getting worse, I lost my job again, I have debts to pay, my pappa dont have meds anymore, its almost the end of month and I still dont know where to find money to pay rent, water and electricity. I have to admit even though" I study the bible everyday, doesn't mean i remember everything I read from out of it. Because trying to memorize everything" from out of the Bible is a lot, And can be a bit hectic for a certain individual.

Finished reading through the whole bible just today
I've really enjoyed doing Bible studies where I'm required to go from passage to passage, moving from OT to NT, from Isaiah to Revelation, back to Daniel, then to Paul's epistles. Recently, I've been sent to the minor prophets, but without my previous studies, the smaller book's prophecies wouldn't have made so much sense.
We have a program in our church where we read thru the Bible every year . We have a Bible that had a section you read each day to complete it buy the end of the year. Each day has a series of questions to discuss. We meet the 3 rd sat of each month to discuss what was read that month and to get questions answered. I learned more from that than I ever had from skipping around. I highly recommend doing this it’s a amazing experience

I'll be honest, I'm very easily distracted when it comes to any kind've reading, I AM currently reading through the bible, but i'm also studying for my driving theory but I find reading the highway code a chore even though it's important and I know it... I am still faithful to Jesus. I just don't claim to know more nor do I try to preach it before I know the Bible
I've never read the Bible from cover to cover, but I've read every book in the Bible some books several times over, problem is I don't retain it. I can read through a book in the Bible and only tell you at best Maybe 5% of what I just read. Once in a while a person might ask me about what I believe most of the time I'm completely blank on what to say even though I read the Bible everyday.

Everytime I try to explain the gospel to somebody, I use a courtroom analogy.
Let’s say you stand in front of a judge (God). And the judge explains to you all the crimes and laws that you committed and broken, and then right after he sentences you to life in prison, he steps down from the podium and puts himself in handcuffs to be taken away by police.
You stop him and go “wait, what are you doing?” And he responds “You deserve to spend life in prison for what you did, but because I love you, I’m gonna take the punishment you deserve myself so that you don’t have to. BUT… You have to accept what I did for you and believe on me as the only way for you to be saved from prison.”

I think that while it is good to say one read the whole bible I see this misconception that if one does read the entire bible they have understanding of it. Which in many cases is not so true.
Many read the whole bible more than once even but yet still don't understand the gospel they still miss the whole point. And there are those that even didn't finish the bible book by book but understand the message or the word quite accurately
Which is why I would say instead of just reading the bible study it seek understanding that way you will be able to preach the gospel whether or not you have actually finished it per say but this is my concession

We may read all the content of the Bible but may not live with some verses that are irrelevant to our life. How many judaism followers can live complying 100% with the Old Testament? For the christians, it is quite enough to live complying with the 2 commandments that Jesus had given/taugh them - Love God and Love thy neighbours.😀

Many say they are christians but don't know the teaching or reading the bible. Even in prayer they spent a minute a day because they are busy chasing worldly expectations and pleasures.. How can they truly know God the Father and the Son And the holy spirit? Pick up the bible and start study again it's with the prayers the most important thing to do as a Christian. Who is of the world shall not be with him in heaven
hey daniel I have not read my entire Bible in a long time but I am trying to read it more often I just wanted to know what version of the Bible you own so I could I could read it
I've never actually read the entire bible all the way through. I've read the new testament and I've listened to the bible. But never actually read the bible from Genesis to Revelation.
I'm not trying to make excuses... but sometimes I think the reason many persons have not read the entire Bible is because of the hassle of human everyday life and it would sometimes slow down the pace at which your able to read because for e.g. those persons who might have a tight schooling schedule. Yes they do read the Bible and they always set aside time but they won't read it as fast to the point of the entire Bible in a flash but would study it bit by bit at a paste. They would eventually get there. Also sometimes it's good when u have someone who is older or able to give u a bit of encouragement, guidance or assistance sometimes when your spending time in God's words but that's not a privilege available to all.
Btw, I once read the Bible easily in one month... I mean, seriously: the Bible (ca. 783,137 words) is just twice as long as *_Don Quixote_* and thrice as long as *_Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows._* If I was able to read _Deathly Hallows_ in a week, it shouldn't be so burdensome (as some Christians say, and as I also said once) to read the Bible at least once in a year.

How to study the Bible and know it, please
*First step:* read the Bible (even using different methods) and familiarize yourself with it (as a whole and with each book separately).
*Second step:* ask questions (like "what is God like?") and seek answers from the Bible
*Third step:* listen to what biblical pastors and other true Christians have said and written on the different passages of the Bible.
