Hi, sorry this took me so long to find (I'm the translator and I organised our team, but i delegate EVERYTHING including all the distribution so it took me a while to remember that we get comments outside of tumblr) This is the age old question of to share or not to share; but like a scanlation for manga, it falls in that grey zone. The SPL drama audio can already be found here on youtube or baidu cloud or a number of places. So whether or not we upload the audio here or not would not make a difference as to how available the audio is, but i can guarantee you that if we had uploaded just the vid without the audio, someone would have downloaded it, sync it up to the audio, and uploaded it again. I'm experienced in the translation scene, and this is what I think will happen if I ONLY provide the translation: SOMEONE will put it on youtube and softsub it with my translation script, and it will not have kanako's QC to make sure all the lines fall in the right places. Someone has ALSO already took my script and retranslated it to spanish and put it elsewhere on youtube without asking --- and this happened pretty much the same week we started posting. To me, it's preferable to take the scanlation approach: put up a notice to tell people not to reupload or retranslated or worse, monetise it, make sure our own files are kept well in order, and if it ever gets licensed in an English speaking country, at least we can take it down ourselves.
