I’m just lucky I figured it out. I was pretty nervous breaking it down like that. Never really worked on a quartz mechanism before. I think I’ll stick to the vintage.
Great video! I have one that is also yellowed and was wondering if there is anything else you can say regarding the whitening process. How long did it take and what kind of light were you using? Thanks!
It drives some nuts for me to say this, because so many are invested in “Retrobrighting” which calls for multiple chemicals. All it takes is hydrogen peroxide. The best is the creme developer used in hair dying. And the best light is the sun. On a sunny day it can take as little as 1-2 hours.
Hola.
Hi, I have this clock but the minutes don't flip anymore. The power works and the black and while striped wheel clicks the seconds and turns, but it's not moving the minute flaps...any tips?
Thanks, I was able to fix mine using this video!
Great!
Neat clock and that did look complicated. I would of left it alone and tell myself it works correctly twice a day

Is there a power switch to turn it on? I have a brand clock and inserted a new battery but nothing happened. Thank you
No switch. Just make sure you have the battery in the right way.

¡Gracias por tus comentarios!
No sé dónde conseguir esa pieza para tu reloj.
Lamento no poder ayudarte.
I have this clock but I guess I just don’t know how to set it up. My clock is really slow at moving the minutes. Any advice on this?
is there anywhere i can send this type of flip clock for repair in Malaysia or nearby?
Sorry. I have no information on that.

You probably have the same problem as shown in the video.
