Man. I hate Strats. Never found anything useful sounding other than the neck. BUT… Jim - you make me wanna reconsider. Damn that sounded good. Especially with the new two tone knob option on the bridge pickup. 😂

So it was not just my ears. I really like the look and specs of this guitar, but each video I watch, I keep wondering what is lacking from the overall tone/ sound? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I guess the alnico five pickups are at fault? Altough they should have a lot more life to them. Relatively high output etc.
Imho IT IS mostly the wood. I have 16 strats and the American ones Sound all noticible better. Have a Road worn, 2 Japan ones that are no Bad guitars. I have a American Standard from 1996 witch IS really dead sounding dosnt Matter that pu i Put into. But These new American pro ii series i have 2 of are extremly good and get better with good pu's. The American Vintage Line seems also Sound decent.

They can send it to as many UA-cam sales people as they like but it’s still a €300 guitar at best with a cardboard box for a case . Just my 2cents
