@@831jperry Not so much I'm afraid.😞 I have a flat full of instruments and it goes in seasons where my focus (or more accurately obsession) is at any given time. Right now it's ukuleles. I've played for a while but I've just got into alternative tunings which has blown my mind with the new possibilities and sounds I'm getting. The creativity is in full flow. I have no doubt the melodica will get another look in at some point. I can see it's vaguely squeeze box sound working with some of the folky stuff I'm coming up with at the moment. Maybe not so much with the Bach though. 🙂

One problem I found was worrying about driving my neighbours nuts with it because they are quite loud. 🙂 Plus there's all that self consciousness when you are trying to practise a new instrument and you know people can hear you. I do think jamming along with backing like this music here helps when you can play it at volume. It's really good for practising all those short little phrases and effects along to. I think mine will come into use for some bonfire side jam sessions. It will be ideal for that.
