How prophetic was his message. A foreshadow of today. “Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph”. FD Washington used to say pepper are not happy until you lie to them. How true, and evident today. Either this generation was right or today’s generation. Someone is wrong. That generation may not had money, education, recognized in the world…etc but they had power. The Late Most Reverend Presiding Bishop James Oglethorpe Patterson Sr. (born July 12, 1912-died December 29,1989) was Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ for over two decades from 1968 until his death in 1989. He was the father of the now deceased COGIC bishop and Chairman of its General Assembly, The Right Reverend J.O. Patterson, Jr.(1935-2011) and was the first elected Presiding Bishop. He was also the uncle of the Late Presiding Bishop His Grace, The Most Reverend Gilbert E. Patterson. BiographyEdit Bishop Patterson was born in Mississippi in 1912. He and his family joined the Church of God in Christ then under Bishop C.H. Mason when he was a young teen. I think as long as music artists glorify God and their heart's intent is set on glorifying God, then their music is honorable to God. However, when their heart’s intent draws away from glorifying God, then that is when they become too worldly.

Much can be said about his [their] treatment of her after her appearance with her daughters at the Grammys. How times and attitudes change over the years.
