En 1884, lors de la restauration d’une maison dans un petit village espagnol, un manuscrit a été découvert, dissimulé dans un faux-plafond. Il remonte au XVIIème siècle et a été écrit dans la langue des Espagnols Musulmans persécutés, les Morisques. Le propriétaire de la maison avait caché le manuscrit avant d’être forcé à partir lors de l’expulsion finale des Morisques. Voici ce qu’il dit :

I do not deny that the Amazighs had a presence and participation in the history of Andalusia, but for all of Andalusian history to be Amazigh is a clear and blatant lie!!
In fact, the Amazighs were the ones who took their civilization from the Arabs of Andalusia and imitated them, not the other way around! The most famous Andalusian palaces in Spain are the Al-Zahra Palace, built by Caliph Abd al-Rahman al-Nasser, “the Arabs,” and the Alhambra Palace, built by the “Arabs.”
There were no buildings for the Amazigh before the arrival of the Arabs. They did not know what architecture was at all! They lived only in caves and huts, so they were called Berbers

The ancient Muslim Spaniards, known as Mudejars, Christian kings' subjects, were permitted until February 1502. Then they were submitted to baptism and renamed as Moriskos. Almost all of them persisted as Muslim under taqiya, until 1609. This poem, for its archaism correspond to the Mudejar period, it was written in the last half of the 14th century CE.
This group called AlFirdaws has absolutely nothing to do with Mudejars nor with Moriscos. They are a bunch of so called converts. The guy who plays guitar is an english fellow and others are Spaniards and Moroccans. and by the way, wherever they go they play the same music and the same "song", played in every fest in Morocco. So do not be deluded bro!

This is so so beautiful.. I always felt a special affiliation with Moriscos since my childhood when i read lots of books based on Andulus and Muslim rule over there.. i wept over nights and prayed for them knowing that it's part of history. This again sent me back to those days when We Muslims were the hiers of Andulus... Immense Love from Pakistan

I just saw this clip by chance I don't know how, but it's so funny :) 1:00 when I saw this face I said, wait where do I know this man?? He is Ali Keeler I met him in Granada at the mosque he is such a nice and gentle person. When I saw the motifs and scenery of Alhambra I understood it then what a nice coincidence! If Spain wasn't conquered by the Moors, it would most likely have been conquered by the Visigoths or Vikings... Would you be happy if let's say Visigoths conquered your country? Does it make any big differences in conquering? But remember brother, don't blame the moorish for anything, you should instead be happy for everything they've left behind. The Architecture (see alcazar, alhambra etc), the food, the language (over 4000 words of arabic origin/meaning), the music (see spanish guitar and the way of singing), They brought many flavours and ingredients like rice, sugar, almonds etc.. I don't know if they are more clean or organized, you may be true tho. Because they tend to be more cultural included, and live in villages etc. I agree with you about Melilla and Ceuta, but to be honest i don't care if we get them back, most of us don't give a damn haha. Since you are mentioning North Spain, i just wanted to ask you why their traditional clothing tend to look more middle eastern/berber then the other traditional clothing in Spain? :)
