I'm reading her autobiography and, man, what a hard life she has had. But she never gave up. It is difficult to believe that after everything what she went through, is a person so full of energy, joy, positivism, charisma. She is an adorable and inspirational human being as well as an extraordinary artist.
I love Shania! She has overcome so much adversity and she is such a beautiful woman inside and out. I can’t say enough good about this lovely person!
Shania is the most amazing person in the world! I would LOVE to meet her! She taught me to keep working towards your dreams, even when you don't have much to start with! She kept me tough when all I wanted to do was cry!!

Family trauma in general, wether it be physical abuse, mental abuse, or constant betrayal of a parent towards another parent, can leave psychological issues and deep effects on the children, which can then lead to their own personal issues of trust, or lack of trust towards future partner/s and sexuality issues as well, and definitely can lead to more trauma.
Shania, we are waiting for a new album. With all that you've gone through you are sure to have something special to come.

Shania knows the meaning of **unconditional love*. We should all take notes from her on this. Life and ppl are complex.

Father wounds are a huge deal. The biggest deal in our society.
Many Father's are just repeating what they learned amd experienced from theirs. It's a cycle. People are in pain and they lash out at others.

@@harrisfoster1066 don't you get it? The point is showing to the people out there in front of their TV screens that they are not alone. By sharing her story she may give people suffering from the same issues a little bit of comfort, showing that they are not alone in their situations. I personally believe that it takes a lot of courage to share it instead of keeping it from everyone. And I'm sure she's seeing a therapist. These are just two different things, sharing a story and getting treatment. If you watch it again and listen to what she is saying you might understand what the point here was.

I still remember certain events from when I was 4 -6 years old when my dad used to beat up on my mother. I remember a certain night when he took her in the bathroom and locked the door and I could hear the commotion and screams..I was banging on the door screaming and afraid for my mother's life.
I didn't like this interview... Ellen was like trying to talk about her past but I think she did it wrong "your father trying to kill your mother" like WTF!!!

I loved Shania until , I found out that she was just using me to get taxes under my name . She told me we were going to get married and that she loved me . I have all the proof and personal information on the tax paperwork

Let's see how successful of an album you will put out now that Mutt is not behind the wheel. Better call on his assistant Mike Shipley if you want a chance at a sucessful album. Haha.
